So your take is that the defense was the reason the OL can't block and our QB was Jackson Arnold, Payton Thorne, Jeremy Johnson 2.0 etc...
No numbuts

Ny take is 99 defensive snaps to 76 offensive snaps is bad .

Even Golesh said we have to get off the field better.

What I am saying is not controversial.

Stop being a tard

We got one sack against that bum leg and that was in the first quarter. That's pathetic and Randy fricking approved.
the sack was before DJ’s ankle injury

i think what happened is Spavital recognized immediately that DJ’s mobility was severely compromised and started calling quick throws to limit the opportunities for the defense to get to the QB

Durkin failed to compensate and play tighter coverage and let the little white dude almost beat us by himself

hell, the announcers commented that the only time DJ threw on the move from the injury on was on the PAT attempt

Nobody is saying it was a 92 Alabama performance on defense, I'm just saying Durkin's defense kept us in a game yet again as he has so many times recently and that the offense was much more concerning than the defense. I'm glad we finally won one.

Maybe we should all come out more optimistic. We won a close one and we finally shook the bad loss juju

We found so many ways to lose football games the last few years

Did everyone know that this was a game that we would not have won the last 5 years?

Maybe the key to making people more appreciative for a P5 win is to dig into some of the multitude of 1 score losses from 2021 on. I was at the S Carolina game in Williams Brice in '21. That was a really poor second half with the capper being a muffed punt return late in the 4th.

That’s the main takeaway from this one. We at least shook the losers finding a way to lose mentality. It was damn close but we didn’t let it get us.

This is exactly what happened. Spavital actually didn’t call a bad game when all was said and done.

After the injury it was all “two steps and get it out FAST.”
