Auburn voted 6th in the West at SEC media days poll. You know what that means.

I don't know if I can handle Auburn winning the West this early in Brother Hugh's tenure.

I can't say it is surprising. We are almost a new team with a new coach - so many unknowns. We must start out 3-0. If we beat A&M, 8-4 is not out of the question. Lost that one and 6-6 or 7-5 is likely. My hope is we have a player or two click and bring everyone up, and we see a few upsets. I think Freeze has done as good as could be expected at this point.

I don’t understand the hype that Arkansas is getting. Their Cam Newton QB 2.0 has been a total dud so far. Preseason Heisman plays like Jalen Milroe.

That dud has had 6600 yards of offense and 65 TD’s the last 2 years. I wish we had a dud like that.

Last year they had a team full of Freshmen starting. They shedded their dead weight. If Petrino works out, they will be a very tough team to beat with the experience they have gained. Don't take them that lightly. Not saying we can't win but they will not be an easy W.

This. The simpletons around here can’t think critically.

Auburn is way more experienced and will be coached far better...

One major difference in bammers and Auburn folks is they see the positives and demand results, versus us wallowing in the muck.

No one really knows what we've got. Can CHF meld all these new guys into a cohesive, unified team? That's a tall order, but I lean toward the positive.

Before we fired Harbee, I thought we were looking at a 3-win season this year. Now I think we are in the 6-8 win bracket, possibly 9 with a favorable bowl opponent.

But hey, this is Auburn, anything could happen. Just enjoy the ride.

I have a hard time following this but I assume it means that Auburn accepts mediocrity.

I'll be more clear; frick off.
