Poor Tahaad. He can’t throw it in the ocean right now. He is really struggling from the field.

For him it's gotta tough now that Hall is the scoring alpha dog. TP isn't used to that so when he gets his chances it's more pressure. Seen this happen even down to youth bball

Tahaad was at his best last year when he wasn't the guy.

Don't know why he cant shoot well so chalk it up to sophomore slump.

Steven deserves it, for sure, but you know how this league is when it comes to rewarding Auburn.
No doubt, but it's hard to argue that he's done an amazing job with an almost total rebuild, in such a short time. Kudos to Steven!

Not saying yes and certainly not saying no.

But this could work both ways if he's seeing this as a positive and not detrimental to his own future.

But 'm not his shrink and you could b right.

Pettiford has got to stop shooting so early in the clock. He is trying to force the shot that isnt there

I said it with WGjr. and now Petti.. I can’t wait until he’s gone and we can get a dependable PG

Imagine if we had a Clayton Jr. at the helm

He's forcing up a lot of tough shots too. Two games I went to he was hitting all his pre game shots.

Terrible post. Everyone wants Clayton Jr from 2025. Imagine UF with him right now

This is Hall’s team. Tahaad can just relax and learn to play point and get him the basketball, and focus on stopping the lazy passes. Hall took that game over in the 2nd half yesterday. His ability to shoot and get fouled in the process is otherworldly.

Good win last night. Not a fan of the way Texas plays. They are rough and 8 is a flopping machine.

Didn't play very well in the first half, but the 2nd half was really good. Texas and Auburn are both meh 3 point shooting teams so of course both were lights out last night.

Hall and Overton were both pretty elite.

Next 4 are gonna be tough. If we can split them we're cooking. Gotta win at least 1.

@UT
Bammers at home
Vandy at home
@Arky

Things get a bit easier down the stretch.

Yeah, the 5 after those 4 are all very winnable. Splitting would be huge.

It's mainly confidence but he's a little fatigued too. There were a few times last night he turned down good in rhythm looks just to take an out of rhythm shot late in the shot clock. I'm interested to see how he looks after the bye and am hopeful the time off and a little extra work in the gym can flip his switch.

After how efficient Texas was on offense in that first half I’m not shocked.

Saw a stat that we only had 4 empty possessions in the 2nd half last night. That's pretty dang impressive from the Berg

I thought we played good. Guys were giving max effort. Texas couldn’t miss. I wanted us all to gang up and beat their big guys arse. I’m too old to try him 1v1, but damn, he pissed me off.

The guys are embracing their roles and playing hard on both ends.
Free throw shooting seems better.

Magwood is missing out on some minutes. I hope he’s learned to be a better team member and team mate.

Any word on Bashir and his back?

Is Oporum enrolled and going to classes? I hope he’s getting whatever help he needs.

Is Simon going to have some minutes?

I guess the rotation is set for now with 8 guys: Pettiford, Hall, SWA, Murphy, and Overton starting. Jovic backs up 4/5. Freeman backs up 2/3. Mushelek plays minutes around media timeouts as backup PG for 5 to 7 minutes per game.

Are we looking at Giannis? He wants to leave the Bucks. He could shore up our frontline.
