I don’t know where that came from. My hunch is that Durkin is receiving some interest from both Kiffin at LSU and Golding at OM, with him skipping the team meeting this morning. I think he is rightly evaluating his options.

He won he over after last night, but I would be fine with breaking away from the Freeze era.

I’m glad everyone is happy today. I think this is a solid hire. We should all be at the show me time period.

Love the structure of the supposed contract with win incentives. Hope they do that for the higher paid assistants as well.

Most alignment I’ve seen on a hire since Gus. And Gus proved to be a good hire, even if he flamed out at the end

I’m learning no matter who we hire someone is gonna pump sunshine so I’ll just sit back and wait till we’re doing this again in three years. This hire couldn’t excite me less. Hearing recruits say they didn’t know who he is should be a red flag but hey here we are. I’m literally getting de ja vu writing this but whatever.

There was no coach other than Durkin we were considering that recruits would have recognized

Are the NIL checks going to stop clearing?

Golesh’s real recruiting is going to be our money boosters. If he convinces them to fund a top 5 NIL slush fund, we will be a top 5 recruiting team. It’s that simple in today’s environment

I don’t know if Golesh will be good but this is a stupid take by you

So summrall didn't have a 4 star receiver already at Tulane? Seems like they knew who he was and we blew that. I'd love to be wrong but I guess we will see. Im just not pumping sunshine about this. Everybody has money so the idea that he wont have to out recruit someone is a stupid take by you. Like I said we will see.

What are youeven trying to say? USF has been ahead of Tulane in recruiting per On3 in recent years either way. Golesh has also been recruiting coordinators at multiple stops where the schools recruiting better than their historical standards

None of that matters though. If our boosters write the biggest checks, we will get the biggest recruits. It is that simple and means Golesh needs to talk to Yellafella

247 has the classes separated by two spots. My point is perception is reality and if recruits don't know who he is he will have work to do. Again I'd love for him to work out I'm just skeptical.

Arrived with band, Aubie, President, and Cohen welcoming at the airport, screams alignment

Golesh out-recruited Sumrall every year in the same conference.

Fine if your cautious with the hire, but this recruiting take is just flat wrong.
