How? I don't donate a bunch of money to the program to the extent I could meddle. I don't post on Twitter or Facebooks or anywhere other than here about AU Football. I don't call radio shows. I don't know any of the coaches, players, or PTB. How does my opinion or how I act cause AU problems?

They definitely do. We aren't alone in that.

I have given Harsin the benefit of the doubt and have been supportive up until this point. This is going beyond wins and losses right now. The whole program is in trouble and there's not much to look forward to as it stands.

I think we have a similar point of view on the job Harsin is "doing" right now

Yeah I think so.

I’d love to be wrong and hope I am.

Anyone else an Atlanta United fan? This kind of reminds me when we hired Gabriel Heinze last off season.

He came in with a good name, a good resume, and lots of hype. Before long, he had shut out all the social media team and journalist and wasn't getting along with players. ATLU looked good to start the season, but the longer things went the worse they got until the star player (Josef Martinez [build the statue]) finally spoke out. After 13 games it was apparent that things just weren't working and wouldn't start working. The front office ripped the bandaid off and fired him, hired an interim manager and eventually a full time manager, and ended up making the playoffs.... sometimes when its not working you just have to admit it and make the move instead of digging the hole deeper for next guy.

Same thing the Cardinals did with Josh Rosen/Kyler Murrary. I still say give Harsin this year, but there's not point in waiting too much longer than that if things continue as they are.

I'm a ATLUTD fan, but I have a truck. I coach CrossFit, but only focus on power lifting and Jui Jitsu

Just an old AU fan that usually enjoys reading these boards, not much for posting. I just don't want to see us get in a cycle of hiring and firing coaches every couple of years, we could be like Tennessee and suck for 20 years like that.

Jesus we ain't gonna be like Tennessee. We have way to much talent surrounding us. Tennessee has always had to go out to North and South carolina, georgia, north alabama and mississippi for talent. Within a 2 hour circle around AU there is plenty of talent to support a good SEC West team. If we are able to close on some elite players 1-2 each year would make the difference in winning championships or not.

This whole discussion if we make hard decisions we will become Tennessee is dumb. Just like now Nashville is a destination spot and tons of money is piling in there. It will soon be a hotbed for recruiting.

This tread is toxic, giver the man time to build his program, with that being said if we regress a lot more next year then maybe it’s time to pull the plug.

Just saw an "insider" say Craig and Tee Martin were in the mix for OC. Tee Martin interviewed for an NFL OC job

Yep. Firing a guy after one year is a horrible look. Hell, firing a guy after two years is just as bad. These people have families they have to uproot. We will never get a HC worth his weight if we do business like that. We have what we have right now. Hopefully he can get things turned in the right direction.

At this point I would welcome either one. At least our recruiting would improve.
