I don't know if it is actually a given Taad will play off ball more and he definitely won't be a 2 primarily. That was just a rumor that he wanted to play off ball more, nothing concrete at this point.

He's our starting pg but like you said if needed he can give minutes at the 2. Offensively we would be fine with TP at the 2. Defensively without elite rim protection we would struggle.

I thought Tuesday thru Sunday was supposed to be lit. Do our insiders even have inside information??? Ghost of Bralan Womack the sheep who cried wolf???

Possibly. Though we are only ~20% through Tues thru Sunday.

Apparently SWA may be entering the portal now and Freeman may want back in.

This has gotten ridiculous! They need to have longer contracts with extremely hefty ramifications if you break them.
Some of these guys will make more than i will in a lifetime for 2 years of playing

Supposedly he hadn’t signed one. And freeman had a deal with TTU and it ended up falling through.

If SWA ends up being a sorry arse liar this fanbase better light him the frick up. Stop giving this shite a pass. That's a sorry arse MF to lie to everyone like that.
Freeman can kick rocks too. frick that liar and don't let him back on the team. Have some standards.

The making statements and then going back on them if getting very old. This isn't high school recruiting, you are a paid college athlete. If you want to test the portal to see your value, do so, but don't say you are staying and then recant. If you want to treat it like testing the nba draft waters, go for it, I don't have an issue with that, but act professionally about it. The transfer portal is such an awfully constructed mechanism.

Heide to South Carolina

What’s funny and shows how bad reporting these days, is I believe the question he was asked was about leaving his home state of Alabama, no mention of Auburn.
Posted on 4/16/26 at 10:28 am to GoCrazyAuburn
He definitely threw a cut there and then threw a cut about having a better route tree at Texas. BTW our route tree will be small this year as well.

back to basketball. Hooks says this is going to be a busy weekend for portal visits.
N King 247
Aristode: I'd say I'm more confident in him committing than anyone on the list, closely followed by Mantas Rubštavicius.
Dowd: If he makes it to campus this weekend, that's a great sign. Tennessee was sure they were in on him.
Oboye: Probably the top center on the board right now that I'm feeling most confident about. He's just ultra athletic and huge. Raw offensive skills.
Other 5 to know is Creighton's Owen Freeman.
Garland has fizzled out, I think. They'd like to get Riley to campus but he's going to be a more costly than some of the other backup guards you'd be be after.

Oboye I really like at the 5, seems to fit what we like to do very well.
