everyone wants to get their opinion off. but i guess that's what forums are for.

i think everyone that can get vaccinated should because i do think it will help get this thing under control. i don't think the government should mandate it, though. a mask mandate is one thing but requiring people to put something into their body is something entirely different. that's setting a very dangerous precedent.

all this other stuff about fetal tissue lines and safety about mrna vaccines is a little above my head, i have to admit. i'm not going to act like i have any sort of knowledge there. i just hope the doctors are right.

eta - if you have natural immunity then i don't see a need to get the jab. but i think you should have to prove immunity by getting the antibody test, or whatever else way you can prove it. just saying "i have a strong immune system" isn't enough, that's a relative judgement based on what you perceive to be a strong immune system.

My 53 year old neighbor who smokes got the covid antibodies test taken, and the results came back from the FDA that she has covid antibodies, SARS antibodies, and a bunch other after having covid spring 2020.

She hasn’t gotten the shot and her natural immunity is better than the shot.

Stop forcing this shite on people., and worry about yourself, it’s becoming a form of terrorism. Terrorizing those who don’t want it by firing them and not allowing them to go to certain things.

There was one which made to the general public (while still in trials in the Philippines) but it was later canceled due to to less than stellar results (unplanned for deaths).

And now that the Delta strain is fading, and the hospitalizations and deaths too, why would they NOW force large groups of people and organizations to be vaccinated?

I can see if there is a new strain or another surge of the delta...so why the big bad push now?

A vaccine is pretty useless if enough people don't get it, so generally speaking that's not sound advice. Notice I said "generally speaking", so not to confuse anyone who might think I'm a COVID vaccine czar.

Now for confession time... I was willingly double-jabbed, and lost 50% of my hearing about a month after the second shot, and my heart feels like it's doing the work for someone twice my weight. this is an interesting point i hadn't thought of... i think those that are mandating would say the increase in vaccinations is what's causing delta to subside so let's make sure it gets put down for good, but i don't think that's a sound argument. that's a very good point you raise.
