i`m completely stunned, this committee looked at what a team has done and not who you are..Jeff Long kept saying that they are not looking at what conference you in only as an individual team that bodes well for more than one SEC team

I was waiting on them to only put one SEC team in but 3 is surprising. Too bad we will never have a scenario where 3 get in.

If UGA was undefeated this year, it would be possible for three I think.

Now will this automatically reorder the coaches poll and the AP? What impact will it have on those polls I wonder?

The coaches and AP poll mean absolutely nothing. That is for the fans. This is what matters. What the committee just said.......Auburn still holds its fate in their hands. Win out and Auburn is guaranteed a spot at the big boy table.

I am really amazed with the committee rankings. I expected a team from each big boy conference to be listed in the top four.

No complaints, I like the mode of thinking on it. Auburn, Bama, FSU, Ole Miss, Oregon and Mississippi State are all in control of their own destiny based on the rest of the schedule. That's the way it should be with the playoff, and that's what we're getting.

I really think these initial ranking are causing an uncomfortable vagina itch for the Bammers. 
Not in the way that being 6 is bad because they are in a decent spot going forward, but the fact they are 3 spots behind Auburn.
