One thing that impressed me about the depth chart was the guys we have listed returning kicks and punts. The return game on ST has been an absolute non-event for the last few years. I am really excited to see what these guys can do. And, I predict we will get a huge play from one of them in the return game Friday night. That is the part of the game no one is talking about because its not as sexy as Offensive and Defensive game plans and match ups.

I’ll take solid Special teams play. We were pathetic on special teams last season. Not turning it over, committing penalties, and hitting FGs inside the 40 would be a huge improvement.
Add on a big play or so on special teams in some big games could make a decent season into a really good one

Like Coach Due always said, you have to be sound in yo kicking game.

Baylor also has an amazing return man

It the availability report out yet? We're inside 3 days from kick but I don't see one.

We have the players to win. Now coaches need to prove it. That's pretty much what this season comes down to.

I haven't heard Cadillac in a while, and it's nice to hear from Wane Gandy too (93 team) never heard of this interviewer before. I will have to agree that I hope we have the running game to match what our WRs/QB bring

Worked at Kroger for a while when I was at Auburn. Wayne Gandy used to come in about every week and he would always come over and cut up with us. Great guy! Freaking huge.

Haven’t seen one yet. Did see Hugh said Singleton isn’t 100% but will play Friday.

This, there is no reason whatsoever for it to be close.
Maybe, but we've had more talent in several Hugh-era losses.

I just realized that since this isn't an SEC match up, they don’t need to release an availability report.

I lived right across from Kroger on Harper Ave for a year. I miss having a Kroger nearby.

Cole Cubelic was on the radio this morning and said Eric Singleton had to play for us to have a chance to win. This wasn't just a throw away statement. He kept on saying it and emphasizing it.
Did we not improve anything else in the off season? We have our other young receivers coming back. If Singleton got hurt is the season lost? This seems like a good bit of hyperbole from Mr. Cole.
