At this point do you bench Thorne for the future?

Thorne served us well. We aren't going bowling. Why not just throw White and/or Brown to the wolves for reps so they can get ready to compete for next year?

Am I talking crazy?

Next game. It’s time for a full on youth movement.

Problem is, I don’t believe the future is on the roster.

Exactly. You don’t just throw young guys out there to get eaten alive for the “experience.”

Thorne (apparently) still gives us the best chance to win. As a coach, you’re always looking to build on the season one week at a time.

I’m a huge Thorne hater and would love to see him replaced any one else on the roster. But I don’t believe in starting young guys for the hell of it. If they were good enough to “build for the future,” then they’d probably already be playing.

He’s the best qb on roster by far

Why does this keep becoming a thing?

I've never seen a top 50 QB as quickly given up on as Walker White. I just can't imagine how bad he must look in practice.

Walker White is highly regarded. His parents were adamant that he would redshirt.

well the potential back up is and I would rather have a back up with game experience instead of Thorne losing the last two outta three

Those baws neeeed to step aside and let the little one's arse whippings happen this year. If for no other reason than we need to see if they worth buying or not? Because quite frankly I'm not all that sold on these guys promise's.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but he could play every snap in the last 3 games and still redshirt.

Exactly why he should also Hank Brown still never got a good enough chance this year. I heard from here, from someone Walker had a family issue going on with his mother having breast cancer

I am on board with giving the younger guys some playing time but I'm not sure if It is going to make a difference in whether we win or lose. It is not going to solve the 3rd down conversion problem which seems to be the biggest hindrance in getting into the end zone.
