I was only able to listen to the first half.

Injured an ankle. Will know more in the next few days.

Thanks. Great timing with the bye week. Pettway will need some rest as well after today.

He has the dreaded high ankle sprain. Looks like we will be down to KP until at least the Vandy game.

It definitely had the look of a high ankle sprain... but in his presser yesterday, lashlee was optimistic he would be back soon. Could be bs

Hope he gets the rest he needs before they bring him back. I think Martin and Pettway can handle the duties with our new found balanced offense.

Yea, pretty sure he was optimistic about Malik Miller too. His opinions on injuries are about as worthless as can be.

All of that is to make teams continue to build a game plan against as many options as possible.

Man it's going to really suck if he can't play against Ark or Ole Miss.

Good point. his leg might need amputating and our coaching staff would list him as day-to-day.

... Pettway pounding time.
Have always though the big power back should soften up for the more fleet of foot anyway. Endurance and attrition wise 3-4 of his runs amounts to 5-6 of Kerryon's. And then one or two of the young speeders can torch'em up good.

... and then he'll be rested up for 4quarter time if need be.

Yeah he's got plenty of time before we really need him.
-Bye
-Arkansas, terrible run D
-Ole Miss, even worse run D statistically
-Vandy

We definitely need him for these two games.

Doesn't worry me too much. Not taking anything away from Johnson, but Petway is a damn hammer. Against Arky, I fully expect him to pound their line into submission.

Auburn needs him against Arkansas and Ole Miss for sure.

If he cant go don't be surprised if JFIII gets more reps to give the run game a boost. I hope it doesn't come to that but nothing would surprise me.

He bruised his Carl Lawson. He should be good in two weeks

I don't want to beat on Pettway until he is useless for Ole Miss. JF3 in the backfield would be interesting. And Martin/Truitt should be able to relieve KJ enough that he can stay on the bench if he needs to get healthy. He will be more important for Ole Miss than Arky.

I wonder if Ford is getting reps at practice?
