It has certainly been a fun day. I rather enjoy playing the villain.

ecided that Miami was actually a historically good team for beating them.

..........in the Orange Bowl. (where they played every home game)

That is the one that has pissed me off the most............even over 2004

If this is true then wow.

You must be fairly young to not remember that screw job. Nebraska was called the greatest of all time and played no one. Miami was unknow but also played n one. NBC spent all December calling the Orange Bowl the MNC game. I have always wondered what if - assume Texas doesn't fumble the punt and beats Georgia. Would Miami have jumped an undefeated Texas also.

Been a great day. I'm glad they didn't leak it. The funniest thing is no one can argue against it.

It is what it is.

We’ve had some really good teams.

Some of them were overlooked for whatever reason.

Wish we have hung banners before all of the 1910-1920 guys were dead.

At least the 1983, 1993, and 2004 teams have many players still alive.

1958 must have very few. I guess they would be mid to late 80s.

Not doing 83 while Pat Dye was alive is a stink that won't ever wash out.

Bammer UGA and Texas all struggling with this news. I’ll give LSU fans a pass at this time because it’s kinda their website and have many more fans on the entire site.

the best part about this is that every time an LSU fan walks up to JHS, they'll see the 1958 banners and flags and whatnot and be mad about us claiming a title from a time when national championships were fake, black people weren't allowed to play football, and we were on probation for doing something that is completely legal now

Im just happy that the University finally had the balls to pull the trigger. I've been saying we should be claiming these titles for decades and now we did it.

Miami a historically great team? Nebraska could have tied the game after a late TD put them within 1 but Osborne was wearing his big britches and went for 2; came up short and lost.

They are melting on the More Sports board too. Got a 7 page thread over there. Feels good.
