Palmer sounds like a good kid. I'm 59 and can't shake the idea that a Student Athlete should be more than an athlete. I love this quote of his:

Dukes scoop said he ran a 4.3. I don't care about the ranking...... that type of speed at 6'2 215 is rare. Glad we got him

Yea he is one we have been hard pressing for a while now. One of those when you look how badly we want him, any rating is pretty much irrelevant. We think he is an absolute priority that Durkin led recruiting on. Very excited with the pickup.

We are coming full circle. Lots of "he is under rated at 3*" I miss in the early Harsin days.

I mean we have 4 4*’s and 3 3*’s with a 90.8 average overall based on 247 ratings. I don’t think that constitutes lots of underrated 3*’s , not yet at least

Just picked up two CB’s for 4* OT Layton von Brandt, one from Wiltfong and one from I think a ND writer, so good signs there.

Whatever. I’m just saying… The kid has offers from Bama, Tennessee, A&M, Texas, FSU, Michigan, and Florida. That’s a pretty strong list.

4* OT Layton Von Brandt announces tomorrow, ND has been the predicted landing spot by several reporters, but looks like something changed and jlee is saying it's an Auburn-ND battle and believes Auburn is in it more than being given credit for. A ND beat reporter says Auburn is the favorite. So something to keep an eye on
