HOOVER, Ala. (May 18, 2026) - The Southeastern Conference on Monday announced its 2026 baseball awards and All-SEC teams, recognizing standout performances from this season. The awards were voted on by the league’s head coaches.

Georgia’s Daniel Jackson was named SEC Player of the Year, Florida’s Aidan King was named SEC Pitcher of the Year, Texas’ Anthony Pack Jr. was named SEC Freshman of the Year, Texas’ Aiden Robbins was named SEC Newcomer of the Year, Texas A&M’s Gavin Grahovac was named SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year, and Georgia’s Wes Johnson was named SEC Coach of the Year.

Jackson is batting .394 with 27 home runs, 77 RBI and 25 stolen bases in 26 attempts. The junior catcher is just the sixth player (and first catcher) in Division I history to have 25 home runs and 25 stolen bases in the same season. He has been named SEC Player of the Week three times this season and was named a semifinalist for the Golden Spikes Award. Georgia, the SEC regular season champion, finished 43-12 overall and 23-7 in conference play.

King is 8-2 with a 2.50 ERA this season. He went 5-0 over his last eight SEC starts with wins over Ole Miss, Georgia, Auburn, Texas A&M and LSU. The sophomore right-hander was named National Pitcher of the Month for April after going 4-0 with a 1.57 ERA in that stretch. King boasts the SEC’s best WHIP at 0.93.

Pack leads the league in batting in SEC games with a .400 average to go along with four home runs, 10 doubles and 20 RBI. He is third in the SEC in batting in all games with a .394 average. Pack recorded 15 multi-hit games in conference play and earned SEC Co-Freshman of the Week honors after he delivered the game-winning two-run double in the series-securing win at South Carolina.

Robbins transferred to Texas from Seton Hall and leads the Longhorns in several offensive categories, including hits (70), total bases (140) and slugging (.697). In SEC action, he is hitting .339 with a team-high 11 home runs and 24 RBI. Robbins is the third winner of the SEC Baseball Newcomer of the Year award, which is presented to a first-year transfer from outside the SEC.

Grahovac is majoring in sport management at Texas A&M and is a member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll with a 3.853 GPA. He leads the team with a .344 average this season, and in SEC play, Grahovac leads the conference in slugging percentage (.743), RBI (40), runs scored (35) and home runs (11).

Johnson led Georgia to its first SEC regular season title since 2008, finishing 43-12 overall and 23-7 in league play to earn the top seed at the SEC Tournament. In his third season at the helm, Johnson has guided the Bulldogs to the postseason each year and this season to the SEC’s best record and a top-five ranking.

The 2026 SEC Baseball Tournament will be played Tuesday through Sunday at the Hoover Met in Hoover, Ala.
