No doubt. I will say that he was one of the few guys to move on from Auburn, accept responsibility, and not blame us for failing. He said he should have taken to the coaching during his pre draft interview. That's probably why he still made it.

I think 2009 was peak Auburn recruiting for me. We were seriously in it for the top 3 backs and had a realistic shot of signing at least two and some felt all 3. Crazy how fast times change. I only heard about Seastrunk 1 or 2 times after signing day. Lattimore had a good run with South Carolina and I thought Dyer was gonna be 2nd best Auburn RB of all time after his freshman year. Just confirms that signing the kid is jist the beginning of the work. I sure miss those days. Life as well as the state of CFB

As much of a lock as there is in recruiting. Kid is a huge Auburn fan.

Corch, they said there are a few other very good DL in state that like us as well, who are they and what do you think of them and Donivan?

09 was my favorite recruiting year as well. It felt like it was coming together for us and the trio of backs was amazing to recruit especially landing dyer.

I probably watched Dyer's HS tape at least 100 times. He stiff armed some 5'5 white boy into the shadow realm on a td run.

Karlos May and Elijah Brown are the other 2 instate interior DL for now.
They aren’t a Moore type player but project to SEC quality. We definitely need some difference makers at the 3 tech so need some big twitchy guys there to provide interior pass rush. We are gonna load up on big boys at the 0tech that doesn’t give much interior rush. So we have to hit at the 3 tech.
There will be movement all over the board on interior DL rankings. Some kids put on to much bad weight some get a lot stronger etc going into their senior high school seasons. But you better have 6-7 you have targeted.

I can’t remember their names but there are a couple guys in the Atlanta metro area, 1 in South Georgia, and a couple in central and south Florida we are keeping an eye on.
