Yea I think I saw Simmons was going to be committing in the next couple days and Preston Williams as well. Have to feel good about both.

Here is a question I wonder.
I know we told Tae Walden Jr he could play both ways.
We wanted one more DB and maybe one receiver. If we give Cedrick Simmons and Preston Williams commitable offers this weekend.....does this mean we have moved on from Tae?
He is too expensive and will screw up the salaries of the room?
Maybe we are gettin a little concerned that bama offer to Cedrick is commitable?
Maybe he was just one of those visit highs and not leaning our way?
I do know JLee said when he said we were his favorite in his OV a few weeks back, he also said we had been his favorite since a spring practice visit. He is an incredible athlete.
Who knows. If we get Cedrick and Preston we should be happy.

That said, Auburn’s side seems confident.
I like him as a player. Undersized and built like a RB, but I think he could have a role in the future.

Simmons is about 5’8”. He’s very small but a playmaker. I would be surprised if we took him but they may see something he brings to the table outside of their normal size profile.

Yea Kingston always seemed like an odd one that came out of nowhere. Good player for sure but I’d bet there are higher bidders out there when he isn’t our RB1.
