Jonesy,
I got the feeling listening to some of the sights that we were kind of keeping him warm versus him still trying to decide, Edwards Im speaking of. Maybe I just read it wrong. Perhaps they are hoping for Marshall or someone else.
Coleman is anyones guess including himself, I dont think he knows what he wants.

It has been. Our offer isn’t as high as USC’s from what I understand, but Juju would bring more home from Auburn.

Looks like Juju is showing out early at elite 11. Kid is the truth.

UGA already has their QB this class. Ryan Montgomery

I may and hope I am wrong but it is going to be tough to take that kid away from Riley and USC. Other than a possibly bag of cash, what would motivate him to switch to Freeze from Riley.
I haven't followed any of this,. Just wondering other than being from the area, what are Freezes selling points?

Ty Hawkins and KJ Lacey are there as well, next couple of days will be interesting.
Hawkins has been committed to TCU for a while. I caught his interview there, he likes Briles offensive scheme (he should love Freeze's), he did say he is very open to all calls. He is a dual threat, ran for 933 yards at 9.3 yards per carry. And the kid can sling it with accuracy.
And every write up on KJ Lacey starts with "despite his size", "although on the smaller side of a typical", "although not the ideal size" hmmmmm.

Dynamic playmaking receivers that are young and already on campus coupled with what could be two of the best in the nation for this year‘s class. Can USC say they have that?

The WR weapons, the fact that USCheat is now in the big 10 and his parents will have to travel across the country to see him play, how California will tax tf out of any money he makes, lack of fanbase in LA with outdated facilities, etc.

If the Bears job opens up is there any way Riley doesn't run there?

Riley is known as a QB whisperer and has no doubt put some QBs in the league, heisman winners, etc. But then Doug Barfield should be remembered as a running back whisperer, after all he had Brooks, Cribbs, Andrews all in the same backfield and all future all pros......or is it they came with an innate talent. Riley had quite the clay to work with when those players arrived, no doubt his offense highlighted their skills, but Im not sure there is that much difference between Freeze offense and Riley's with the right players.
Second, he wont step on campus with the Freeze four at USC, there is a reason those fellas were glued at the hip on his last visit. And the offensive line there is nothing to write home about, and he and his father have commented on the importance of a defense.
Third, he will be on the west coast and traveling all across the country for games. He wont be playing against all the kids he grew up playing against, and his friends certainly wont be visiting for games. His dad even mentioned on the last trip how the Auburn family showed the love during his visit. People calling him out by name, taking selfies, telling him they needed him, etc.
Fourth, have you guys ever been to USC, very compact campus area wise and right in the hood. And a long way from home, and it is the little things you miss. I remember one of the recruits we wanted ended up on the west coast and then transferred back home, he said you couldnt get decent fried chicken anywhere. Funny, but its true, when you live far away its the familiar things you miss.

Yea, I do agree on most of your points. Offensive line, we are not sure yet. all things indicate that it will be greatly improved but that has not happened on the field yet. Same with the receivers. From initial indications, we should be loaded but any Auburn fan should be a tad hesitant on receivers working out. Let's hope Freeze can do a much better job than Malzahn on developing these high rated receivers.
It will be interesting to watch and see what he does. LR has such a good reputation with QBs and USC QBs have done pretty well with NFL aspirations as well. I could see him staying put or making a move home. Who knows

From what his dad said, Auburn set itself apart with the fans/community support for the program, the offensive playmakers and current recruiting, and maybe most importantly, the defense. Also seemed to hint that Auburn being in the SEC was helpful

He had a few WR’s at ole miss the offense worked pretty good for. I think we will be fine.

Understandably a big deal. Even though USC is head for the BIG, I dont think it's going to have the shelf appeal as the SEC yet.

Defense could be the biggest thing that sets us apart.

I am not one to use past history to determine current performance.
Lets just see how things go now

Isn't that exactly what you're doing when talking about Riley's past success with qb's?
