the WRs look freaking massive.
Cam Coleman is yoked! He looks like a different guy. His arms are huge compared to last year. And Perry looks like he lost some weight. Looks faster and more nimble to me.
ETA: Demarcus Riddick looks skinnier than I thought he would. Maybe it’s just the way his jersey was hanging but I expected him to look bigger.

Riddick may be leaner but heavier. Muscle weighs more than fat because of the density in the same amount of space.

I thought the same, must be the jersey, he is up to 228 lbs.
Regarding Perry Thompson, still remember that pic of he and Riddick at that pool party, you couldnt tell who was the WR and who was the LB. He is one stout fella with wheels, and it sounds like his head has finally joined the party. Really really pulling for this kid.

Anybody have any reports/observations from practice yesterday (Thursday)?

Good practice.
Some pace periods.
Arnold was just free. Slinging it.
2 Heismans

This is where I’m conflicted because Arnold and Cam Coleman can’t both win the Heisman. Hopefully they don’t take votes away from each other.

One of the beat writers talking to players have said Coleman and Singleton are very difficult to cover, not just their ability.......but the ball placement of Jackson Arnold has been very good.
Now that is nice to hear.
For those who said he holds the ball too long or fumbles, remember he had to wait until a walk on receiver broke free, while this was happening with his OL.......

Jackson Arnold was hurried 13 times per game on average during the 2024 season with Oklahoma. He was sacked 36 times, which was the sixth-most in college football that year (and he only started 9 games). His pressure-to-sack rate was also the third-highest in the country, indicating he struggled to avoid sacks.

I'm starting to feel very very confident about Jackson Arnold.
I've talked to a few people that said he makes the right call in the RPO about 95% of the time and that Thorne was about 70-75% last year.
