Bama or UGA is gonna win it all next year and increase our despair.
We are stuck dead between two college football dynasties. Harsin fricked our program for longer than anyone can imagine. Even with NIL its gonna be hard to compete for the big dogs who have NFL aspirations. Coming to Auburn right now leaves little hope for jumping to the NFL, especially when you can go an hour a way and have a infinitely better shot. Harsin stuck us with the leftovers for many years because of his dog shite personality and work ethic.

I like what I see from Freeze recruiting. He’s doing great for coming in late on the class. A great transfer QB coming to us now would be a stretch with what we have to work with player wise. I expect that to change next year. If next year comes and we need a big time transfer QB and we miss, then I’ll melt. Hard.

A lot of you all have some seriously unrealistic expectations WEEKS into Freeze's tenure. 
I hope those complaining didn't seriously expect us to be recruiting on a Bama, Georgia, or even LSU level this year. I won't take the time to list all the reasons.

You're right. I should be over hyping the guy with a below 60% completion percentage over 3 years who played in the AAC.
What I find myself doing when I read your posts, is doing the opposite. Kind of like Bizzaro Costanza. So if jt33 likes a player, I'm inclined to not like the same player. If jt33 says a coach is going to be hired, I'll probably seek out an alternative source. No offense meant.

The talent gap is huge and only growing larger.

I know this is hard for a lot of you to grasp but we are NOT on the level of a bama and Georgia.

That’s a stupid thing to say. If you play rugby in Australia but you have NFL talent the NFL will find you. We just haven’t recruited a lot of NFL talent lately

Eh, I think the last decade of UGA has left us in the dust "historically." We've never had anything like their current run, especially if they cap it off here.
