He’s had everything this fall so he’s gotta be out of options going forward hopefully

Tell him to rub some dirt on it. His dad has a recruiting thread to manage. Priorities.

Or pour some Tussin on it. Let that Tussin sink on down to the bone.

Quotes from 247 article on AZ State transfer C Ben Scott's visit:
He has two years ( redshirt and COVID) remaining and is looking to make a decision before the transfer dead period ends ( January 4)
quote:
"It was crazy, this was my first time in the south," Scott said. "Coming from Hawaii and then I went to Arizona State, so first time in the south for me and it was a lot different but like different for the better. I think I fit well here and I think I like it a lot.
"Definitely I could see myself here."
quote:
"They said they’re trying to flip the program around from last season, they didn’t do too hot," Scott said. "They want to get some guys in, especially at the O-line position. They’re bringing in me and a couple other guys this weekend so hopefully they’re trying to get all of us to come and change the culture around here."
quote:
"It was pretty good," Scott said. "It’s been a very good weekend. Lots of fun guys, lots of fun coaches. It’s been good. A lot of cool guys, a lot of cool coaches. Brand new facility is super cool and like that light show at the stadium and they played that video over there on the video board, I thought that was crazy."
quote:
"Coach Thornton mainly and we went in there and watched some film and talked about my process if I came here. It was great," Scott said. "Coach Freeze is super cool. He changed a lot of programs around for the better. His new stop over here, I think he’s going to turn the program around."

Quotes from Vandy transfer DE McAllister:
On the transfer portal and his relationship with DL coach Garrett who was at Vanderbilt when McAllister was young:
He's 6'6 250 lbs and has a year of eligibility remaining. Set to choose between us, VT, and BC
quote:
“It went well,” he said. “It honestly felt like family. Coach Freeze has a nice plan and vision for this program to be successful in a short amount of time. I like talking with him and coach Garrett, the defensive line coach. I know him personally from Vanderbilt. Also watching film with the defensive coordinator was really good.”
quote:
“You have to compete anywhere you go, so I try not to look at depth charts and get too enamored by what the piece of paper says, because the work is going to be the work,” McAllister said. “What matters is the product on the field. There’s only one person on the depth chart here at the jack position, but anyplace I go, I’m going to have to compete. I’m sure the guy at that position right now is ready to compete and the freshmen coming in as well are ready to compete. It will be an interesting competition.”
On the transfer portal and his relationship with DL coach Garrett who was at Vanderbilt when McAllister was young:
quote:
Honestly it’s huge,” McAliister said. “This transfer portal thing, especially with a guy like me enrolling in January, you have to build and formulate relationships in three weeks. You’re really more apt to go with a coach that you know personally that’s going to put you in a position to be successful in a short amount of time.”
quote:
“My plan on the football field is to allow myself to showcase my skills on a stage where I can really do that on a consistent level,” McAllister said. “Auburn gives me a great opportunity to do that. Off the field, maybe work on a doctorate or a PhD degree. Coming from Vanderbilt, school is something I take value in. Thirdly, just being able to connect with teammates in a new space, continue to grow in my faith, and work on myself as a person.”
quote:
““I don’t want to put a hard, set date on it,” he said. “ really try to plan on making a decision next week. Hopefully it be sometime like Wednesday of next week, but I don’t want to put a hard, set date on it.”

Dillon Johnson recap:
Washington, SCAR, and Louisville are also in the mix. He'll have a decision sometime in January
quote:
“It went great,” he said. “I got to meet coach Freeze for the first time and hang out with Cadillac (Williams). He’s my dog. We’ve built a really good bond and have some things going on. It was fun and nothing like it. They have an awesome facility, the best I’ve seen on any visit I’ve been on. It was great.”
quote:
“Coach Freeze came from Liberty and he’s a successful guy,” Johnson said. “He’s getting the pieces around Auburn. He’s getting those guys from the South and putting everything together.”
quote:
“It’s going to be a lot different,” Johnson said. “Staying in the West, you know how that gets. It’s wild over there, but it will be great. It would be fun, it would be different. There’s nothing like the Auburn crowd.
quote:
“It was nuts,” he added of his Auburn experience. “My sophomore year we were getting the brakes beat off of us at first and the crowd was going crazy. It’s different and I tell people all the time that playing in the SEC, especially in the SEC West where you don’t have a day off. You play the best of the best and that gets you ready for the next level. Me and coach Cadillac have been talking and he’s been preaching to me about trying to get me to the next level.”
quote:
“I know Jarquez, he’s a hard working guy,” Johnson said. “I have talked to a lot of guys here and they say he’s one of those guys that’s just different. I would love to be around a guy like that because he’ll make you better. You always want to compete to help you get better, and that’s what coach Cadillac and those guys preach. You want a person like that around you that’s wanting to get better each and every day.”

Dillon Wade recap:
He has three years of eligibility remaining and will enroll at Auburn or Southern California in the spring
quote:
"Like within a week and a half, yessir," Wade said about a commitment. "Yessir I’m going to most likely get on the phone with my mother, pray a little bit and I feel like the opportunity, the school I see the best fit at will be at my heart."
quote:
"Oh yessir, of course," Wade said. "Coach Montgomery is an outstanding person, he’s a great play-caller, I really appreciate him giving me this opportunity because he gave me the same opportunity out of high school. I really haven’t took that for granted because he was one of the first people that made me feel like I can play at this level."
quote:
"It’s been pretty good," Wade said. "I was welcomed with open arms when I first got here and everyone’s been great."
quote:
"I could definitely see myself here,"
