I could have played safety for AU if I was bigger and stronger. And taller and more fleet of foot.

Update on Stanford transfer OT Walter Rouse visit per JLee article

quote:

“Overall, the visit has been a wonderful time,” Rouse said. “A lot has happened in the past 24 hours as far as me entering the portal and getting here. Auburn offered me a visit and I was like ‘let me take it right away before the dead period.’”

quote:

“It has been amazing,” he said. “A lot better than I thought it would be and the expectations were completely blown away. I think it’s a wonderful facility, great coaches, great support staff. A real family aspect at Auburn.”

quote:

“I have a lot of schools,” Rouse said. “I didn’t really come in with a list of schools I was looking at. I’m really open. I’m entertaining everything right now, but Auburn, being able to visit the school has been a big plus for me. I think I’m already starting to form a good relationship with the coaches.”

Timeline for decision:
quote:

“Early January,” he said “But depending on what happens it could be later. We’ll see (on spring). It depends.”

Not good for us. We need someone that can come in and compete in the spring. Let the Oline get used to each other before fall.

I wondered the same thing about moving Love or another DB recruit to LB, would explain our lack of recruits at that position.

Man oh man this OL recruiting is so refreshing, Im almost as happy about it as Jarquez Hunter and our potential QBs.

I don’t understand how we can all of a sudden get OL. It’s almost as if no one tried for last 5-6 yrs

We are a football, basketball, baseball, and gymnastics school again. Plan your schedule accordingly.

If that isn't enough, we're an equestrian powerhouse and a bass fishing school too.

IDK why people downvoted me. We are going to sign 5-6 OL transfers. 4 will start.

Don’t know if it’s already been posted on here but Christian Clemente said Dylan Wade is down to Auburn and USC.

Step one we gotta get them in the boat… lots of solid options, just need to close the deals.

Jones, stop downvoting me. I asked about Dillon the Tulsa OL a page back and you ignored me. You are petty.

If Jones is downvoting you I’ll start downvoting him. Tell me when to call off the dogs.
