Posse
(not asking you specifically here, Metafour, but…)

What’s this talk about him possibly not even starting as a senior in high school?

Yep, I think I read that his GPA is 4.2

Smart good, clean off the field and super athletic…I’m excited to see how he turns out. Auburn being his dream school makes it even better.

We have offered couple 2023 juco OL today. Elijah Phillipe and Isiah Jatta. Jatta is committed to USCe but played juco where Keionte Smith played juco

How often do we see guys that are supposed package deals end up splitting ways? Oh that’s right, essentially every time. The odds that us not taking Air costs us a single recruit are low. Recruits always love to talk about package deals until it comes time to signing day. It’s funny that you think Air is the most influential person in all of ATL, or even on his team for that matter.

Like someone said, Alston was supposedly one of the most liked guys in the country last year and we see how that worked for us.

More that I think handlers don't like being burned.

Jang we need tons of bodies for the OL. Probably 5 high school, 2 juco, 2-3 portal if possible. We will only have 8 scholarship OL after this season unless someone transfers or declares for the draft and that number could go down.

This is the truth and it’s bothered me for years. Obviously Saban has pulled a ton of elite prospects for YEARS now, and they’ve won multiple NCs and Heisman trophy’s because of it, but I swear they’ve had more PRODUCTIVE 3* guys come through than all other SEC schools combined. When they identify a 3* guy, chances are pretty good that we’d kill to have him. Saban identifies talent so well that the recruiting services had to literally change their formulas to keep up. Don’t know as much about UGAs roster but I’m sure you’re correct there too.

Dukes posted an update on Hughley:

— He was close to flipping to Auburn, but Dell caught wind of that and then UGA including Kirby put on a full court press for him.

— Hughley is still in frequent contact with the staff

— UGA has picked up their contact and won't let him go without a fight

— Friend has been in contact a lot more

— Hughley said his heart is in Athens but feels Auburn may be a better fit as far as need and opportunity

— asked if the commitment edit was real and said, "yeah I was close" then was asked if he was going to use it soon and responded with "go dawgs"

— he may not make a decision until February

— playing with his Langston Hughes teammates isn't a big of a deal anymore as it was but him playing with Air is.

— he expects Hughley and the other Langston Hughes teammates to visit during either the Penn State or LSU games depending on which one Love OVs during

— Hughley has a good relationship with Ruzic and also mentioned Zac

— Searels has been blowing Hughley's phone up

Dukes moved his confidence from a 9 to a 5

I've heard something similar, but for the life of me I just can't seem to remember where lol.

Sounds like Dukes blew his load and is now having to cover for the prediction, IMO.

Looks like Love is the only one Auburn will get committed and that’s not even a done deal. I’m good with the staff taking Posse over Air, Air had tons of time to commit.

He was planning on committing. Then news of Posse and his visit came out of no where and then he committed not long after. Noland understandably wanted to take a bit of time to process everything, but said he had no problem being part of a 2 QB class. Then this week we find out the staff are the one's deciding not to take 2 QBs next year though. Its not Noland that didn't want to be here.. he was told one thing and then something else happened, still wanted on board and then we didn't want him anymore and instead want Emory Williams.

Well if Bo and Noland are a combo and both wanted AU they should have committed. Strange story. Plus you can’t tell Posse no to wait on Noland and Bo may never flip.

They planned on it until the staff decided instead of taking Noland they would switch it up and take Noland and Posse and then switched it up again and said they want Posse and Williams.

I agree on Posse and taking him. Zero problem with that and he's a good prospect. The issue is going from selling Noland as being the guy to deciding to drop him from the class all together in a matter of days. He was ready to still come as part of a 2 QB class until we said no.
