3* DE Jack Pyburn — announced a top 2 of AU and Miami but he just got a UF offer so he’s visiting them this weekend now. Unclear how that changes things.

Auburn isn’t pursuing Caden Story.

Even with Marquis and Hunter leaving?

Did the real story ever come out here?

Some people were adamant back in December that Auburn moved on from him when they moved on from Jakobi Albert.

KN was really convinced that he was committed and signing in February. But he now says they’re not pursuing at all. So no clue what ultimately happened there. It does seem like at some point they decided they didn’t want to play for Harsin and they used the late period to increase his stock with other programs

KN was wrong and Jeff Lee was right.

Auburn moved on from him and he DOES NOT have an Auburn offer. Doesn't matter who else leaves or does what. They don't want him. It's not a complicated thing.

What is Lee saying about Pyburn? Supposedly he is a Florida fan.

I miss Lee.

Sure but they wanted him for months so do we know what changed?

That list will continue to improve over the next 24 hours as it becomes apparent who all will arrive. Similar to big game days in that regard

The decision is not complicated but the reason for it is.

He a local kid and we were on him, then we stop, cold turkey, but the player keeps referring to us in his choices.

That's confusing, and it would be nice to know what he did personally to make us give up on an an important Lineman need.

I mentioned it on here before: the rumor is that he got baited by Bama/Georgia who were feinting late interest, and then we caught on and dropped him (ie: he/his dad thought Bama or Georgia might offer him, but neither team was ever going to do that). He is very overrated (been talked about a lot on here) and the staff didn't feel like he was good enough to not just tell him to buzz off. He hasn't had an offer from Auburn for a while now so all the crap about him "still being committed" and "Auburn is in his top 3 still" is crap.

Conclusion: he's not an "important lineman they need".

Farmaer with two commitable offers from bama and georgia a week before signing day? Doubt it, I doubt he has a committable from florida. Cant believe they would stand by while he actively flirts with us so openly.
