So no recruits from the atmosphere from last week. Sad!

Need playmakers and difference makers

Could you imagine leaving the Oregon job to coach at fricking Miami?

Only a total dumbass would do that

There are other ways to handle that. Miami is a total dumpster fire and has been for 20 years and will remain that way for another 20 years.

The Miami of the 90's is no more. Look at the attempts they have made. You take away all the illegal shite they were doing and they are just a very small, crappy school. No fanbase, no support and their recruiting grounds are getting raped by everyone else around them

If he cant build Oregon into a championship team with all that he has to work with, trust me, his coaching tenure at Miami will last about 4 games

Recruiting — KN says that if Cristobal leaves he’ll put his crystal ball back to Auburn for Clemons

You could be correct. But keep in mind this is just a job for most of these guys. And once you have 5-10MM in a mutual fund, getting an extra 2 MM added to your annual salary is meaningless. Point being there are more variables than just resources and winning.

I have said this for years. Guys making 6 mil a year dont change jobs for 8mil a year. I agree 100%

But

I will disagree here. Having the money, the facilities and less competition just makes your job so much easier. Players want to play for Oregon right now. There are things there that attract good players which makes the coaches job so much easier

Nobody wants to play for Miami right now. Nobody who wants a big career.

Now geographically? frick Oregon and give me Miami. But that is where the attraction ends

Just look at Mark Richts career there. Its a fair comparison

This could not be any less true.

The guys at this level are not there to punch in punch out and cash their check.

Any other recruits we could pursue from Oregon? Wasn't there a JUCO OT?

I said before during our coaching search when people kept saying "why would he leave Oregon?" that the guy literally wanted to go back South. He's from South Florida, you think he and his wife are pumped to be in Oregon LOL? Miami is a mess right now, but it's not confusing as to how he'd feel bout mama calling him home. The Clemson AD that they're supposedly bringing in is also highly regarded.

Percy Lewis. He’s been trending to MSU for over a month, unfortunately

Interested to see what 4* LB TJ Dudley does if MC leaves

Would be HUGE to get Clemons back on board.

And for those asking why Cristobal would leave.. Its home, a billionaire came calling and said he would give all the support needed.. Not only to upgrade the normal stuff, but they also want to build a new stadium. I can see the appeal of getting to help design your next stadium for a coach.
