I don’t know anything about Jboy. That clip was hard to watch, and I agree with what you said. He forced it. Even Pat’s son was a little much.

I don’t think he’s saying that. I think he’s saying they’re interviewing those guys
I could be wrong but I think he’s saying we land them. I thought what you thought at first.
The original tweet:
quote:
????Very excited to welcome two ????????’s in the 2022 class & one ?????????? from the 2023 class next week! Including some Offensive Linemen SEC teams are after! Stay tuned! ??
His response to somebody on that tweet also made me think it was a prediction

Jboy making a bold prediction. Shocking

Come on guys. How can you tell it was forced?
Like I said. I can’t know. Just what it seemed like.
Of course I’m not a very emotional guy so maybe I’m being too cynical

Sounds much more like that is who he is going to be having on his show.

Keith Etheridge is the new HC at Auburn High.
He was the HC at Oxford, recently in the news for shitting on the new staff at Tennessee for pulling a kids offer the day before signing day.

I love Keith. One of my friends but from his Leeds days he's changed. He has jumped around like crazy and he's been at some decent schools. He deserves a 7A gig but man he's been jumping around so much lately makes you wonder what's going on. Can't remember if his son is a Junior or Senior this year. I think a junior and I think it'll be his 4th high school to go to.

Since 2015 for Etheridge -
Leeds
Pell City
TR Miller
Oxford
Now Auburn High
He will make Auburn a better program for sure. Only negative is Keith is a bammer homer soooooo.... however he will do whatever is best for his players.

He’s definitely not a Vols homer
He’ll be fair. Auburn has given his programs a lot of attention over the years

Rumor around town was that he jumped to Auburn for more money, but I read Auburn is paying a base salary of $100k, which is what he was making at Oxford. Plus he got a raise for winning state a couple years ago. So that kind of puts a big hole in that theory.
He's a good coach, but all the jumping around he's done is odd. Maybe he's just a guy that gets bored or antsy when he's in one place. Some people are wired that way. Maybe he wants to make it to the college level.
But Niblett jumped from Oxford to Hoover and hasn't gone on to college yet. Grass went to JSU from Oxford and had some success, but you don't hear his name come up for FBS jobs.
Anyways, I hope him the best and thankful that he brought home a title. My nephew loves the guy and he was really good for my nephew in teaching him some things that made him grow and mature.

His moves have been progressive. If he was dropping in classifications I may be worried, but he keeps upgrading.

Yeah, he is a really good coach. That title run Oxford had was some of the best coached high scho ball I've ever personally seen. They had several games where they were down and it didn't look good at all. But they never panicked and always had a plan. He's great at adjustments too.
I think he will be very successful at Auburn.

TR Miller isn’t an upgrade from Pell City.
But Keith is one of the top coaches in the State for sure. I don’t think he has aspirations of being a college coach at this point. Not until Camden graduates for sure.
The pell city shite storm is the outlier in his career they didn’t like putting in the work he required and the parents got involved so he was as like I’m outta here. He will be successful at Auburn High. Hard nosed offense and defense.
He will always be a Leeds boy at heart though.

Not sure if same in Al but in Ga They make their money from Boosters Clubs and other means. I’d bet Auburn provides better $$$ opportunities
