His HL reminds me of Zach Cunningham. Rangy and fast AF

Trooper is the new WR coach at Duke. His son (Blaze) is a GA. Heard Gus spoke with him about coming back. Gus sees the need for better recruiters and that is why he finally got rid of Horton who was a terrible recruiter.

I would have welcomed TT back with open arms.

Sideline needs more towel waving

Pretty sure TT has coached RBs in the past... plus it’s not like it’s rocket science.

No. He is way more connected.

Duke suits him - I imagine Cutcliffe doesn't expect the kind of 24-7-365 commitment required by most major programs.

Yeah you’re probably right. Sounds like he enjoys being around his son as well.

Kendall's tape is more impressive imo than Stidham's was

Probably with a weaker arm, too.

You’re still thinking of Sean White.
The second play of this highlight confirms his arm strength is fine. He rolls right and flicks it at least 50’yards. Can’t tell but he may be on his back foot as well. The problem with him is he was a one read QB in high school. He only had one INT his senior year because his passes were timid and predermined in nature.

50 yds off his back foot perfectly to the WR all while on the run.

every year there was a time frame he wasn't able to recruit.
I wish him the best, but glad he isn't our problem any longer.

One year there was such a period. Also Troop provided us with our some of our best recruiting years. Compare him to Horton or Kodi. No contest.
Now let’s see. My dream would be Dell McGhee.

Not to mention that Trooper with half a year to recruit would still be better than about half of the current staff unrestricted

Such terrible arm strength and mobility in those highlights

If he does and then hires David Johnson from UT, I'll be floored. The knock on him is that he's just a mediocre recruiter. Good WR coach, but meh recruiter.
