re: 2019 Football Recruiting Thread - Auburn Goes 4/7 & Land Brothers

KN put up an insider last night. One cool note the AU 247/Scout merger is finally expected to go through so Jason Caldwell will be working more closely with Keith now. Interested to see the Mark Murphy/Brandon Marcello dynamic tho

- AU visited 3* DB Jammie Robinson yesterday. Greg Brown made the visit who has taken the lead role in that recruitment. SCAR was thought the clear leader for the longest time but that appears to have changed. SCAR insider JC Shurburtt CB'd Robinson to AU yesterday. Robinson will take an OV to TEN this weekend & then Gus will use his in home next week

- Coaching staff was not surprised 4* WR George Pickens planned to take an OV to UGA this weekend. AU sent everyone sans Gus to see him Monday. UGA is definitely a threat but as of now AU continues to feel good

- KN says Gus will be in ATL this weekend. He's expected to visit two top young prospects in 2021 WR Daejon Reynolds and 2022 LB Aubrey Smith. They will be huge AU targets moving forward

- Sounds like AU is in a good spot to land 3* LB Dylan Jordan. He's taking an OV this weekend after visiting UT last weekend who appears to be AU's top challenger. T-WILL & Garner visited him Tuesday to lock in this visit

Kendall has been sitting behind 2 Heisman winners. There's a reason AU reached out...as well as MIA WVU and others.

If I'm not mistaken he was an elite 11 kid as well.

I don't mind going after this guy if that's what we choose to do.

I don't necessarily want him, but I will support him.

What I want is Gatewood to be the guy for 2 years, leave and then Bo be the guy for 2 years.

I also want to win a shite ton of games and if Austin Kendall is what it takes I'll concede that. Just really hard to get excited about another pocket passer. I will support just won't be excited.
