I'm not going to be able to explain to a moron the difference between moving someone from tackle to guard. Or how change 60% of an offensive line is not the same thing as it was the previous season.

If Kendall is the qb he needs to go back to slinging it around like he did at Tulsa by all means go get him. But we thought we had that in Stidham. I will say tho Kendall's tape is more impressive imo than Stidham's was

We aren’t going to magically have air raid schemes all of a sudden. Kendall will be throwing tbe same screens and fly routes that Jarrett did. Probably with a weaker arm, too.

I won't argue that our OL was better in 2013, but we ran a read option first offense in 2013 and did not this year. Not sure what else I can say to prove that it's different.

Marshall ran 17 times for 99 yards in 2013 and Stidham ran 1 time for 6 yards against Purdue.

The offensive line won't be the same next year as it was this year either. EVEN WITH THE SAME PLAYERS. Hell the o-line we ended the season with (63-14) wasn't even the same as the one we started the season with.

And yeah keep dodging the other argument you're getting owned in. The offense we used against Purdue wasn't the same we used in 2013.

Yes it is. Minus the qb run. You idiots are not looking at the games. You are simply going by memory. Go watch the games from 2013. I know you idiots will not do it, so you will continue to look stupid.

The very first series on offense was speed sweep on 1st down, run the the middle (not a zone read) on 2nd down, whirly bird (orbit motion, not coxcat) long pass on 3rd down.

Does that not sound similar?

Minus the most dynamic element of the offense and 50% of the play calls. Yet it's the same offense. Same base offense sure. But they are dynamically very different. Still not exactly sure what your whole point is in this. That just bc we sucked this year with an offense that was very different than one of Malzahn's best, we'll suck again next year. Despite having different personnel?

No not really bc there's no Marshall around the outside for 14 or Tre up the middle on the option handoff for 7.

I don’t know how much Willis is allowed to actually read the play. I think they’re going in with the read already called
I don't know about the regular season but in the bowl game there were at least 2 plays where it wasn't predetermined because Gus was frustrated a couple times Willis didn't keep it on a read that would have had him run it up the middle.

Some good news that may get lost amidst the current argument...

Barring a 19 spot drop or more by 247 in their final rankings George Pickens will end up a composite 5*.

Also Bo needs a 27 spot jump by 247 to be a composite 5*. Given Barton Simmons's track record of being meh on Bo compared to most rankers & analysts I wouldn't count on that big of a bump.

Surprised they had Mertz over Bo considering how high they were on him as well as him playing in their AA game.

If we miss on Moore do we push for Gordon again?

And Ellitor maybe you can answer this one.. Whatever happened with Handy-Holley?

I think we would push for Cox first. Jamond supposedly has grade concerns.

No clue. I was the one who originally saw he was not on the roster. I DMed BWolk on twitter & he didn't know either. Regardless all indications are AU is moving on without him. That's why we are looking for a 2nd Safety in the class I think.

This is big imo. I hadn't heard of this kid until a few days ago, but now I really hope we get him. I would take him over any of the other LBs we're trying to get right now.
