If JS thought he was possibly ready for the NFL this year, he won't stay past next season.

The good news is that in 2019 we will have a LEGIT QB competition between Willis, Gatewood, and Nix. Hard to not get excited about that.

but Gatewood is going to need some time to learn the system.

How hard is learm screen, run the ball, throw deep to the sideline?

Your schtick is still super fresh. We’re all caught off guard by your analyses, no matter how redundant they become.

Yes. Gatewood is legit. He needs to be our GL wildcat time now, too.

Well it's official. Gatewood is now a TE

Why do you always post dumb shite

What's dumb about Bo Nix and Malik Willis being better than Gatewood?

I would hate to waste the talent of Gatewood for the occasional goal line wildcat package.

I love this too! A legit competition with 3 big-time guys, all of which have very good physical traits for this offense.

-Willis is the least physically gifted but will have spent most time in system and most time on field
-Gatewood is most physically gifted and a full year to develop as a passer
-Nix is most well-rounded and natural fit at QB but will be a true freshman.

Paw,

Gouraige is from Tampa and Barnes from Apopka. Send a bag man down and have them take a little trip to Mons Venus. They will be ready to sign....course you might have to hold the pen for them.

I wouldn't say Willis is the least physically gifted. He has the lowest recruiting ranking, that's it. By far the most dynamic runner though. He is working tirelessly at being a great passer too. I have no doubt he CAN win the job when JS leaves. It's just nice to have 3 legit options to battle for it.

Right now, I am team Willis.

By far a more dynamic runner than Joey Gatewood?

I disagree. Strongly.

Im in your camp TT. Some of those highlights on Gatewood, well lets just say he brings the wood...pun intended, and he has some moves and heat for a fella approaching 240 lbs.

John Mincey just decommitted from Arkansas. He tried to commit to AU at the Iron Bowl but we wouldn't take him at that time. KN says there has been some communication between AU & Mincey but KN not sure he's a take. Says there seems to be some questions still whether AU will take a 5th DL or not

FWIW KN also confirmed earlier in the week that Andres Fox had silently committed to AU before signing with Stanford. Staff always felt if he got into Stanford then he was probably gone

If we take a 5th DL hope it's Tannor & not Mincey. Something interesting to watch tho
