Might not be the class for those following the * system. But definitely one to follow for how these coaches evaluate talent and find players for these systems.
The last staff went by the star system, look where that got us. I Would say they were masters of the star game, how the hell did they get Jake Holland ranked a 4star?
I feel these coaches can evaluate talent, especially Ellis Johnson. We all know that he ran that D by himself at USC.
Im not so sure about Gus, based on last stint here. But how much can we really know relative to how much choice he had over Chizik's star gazing....qb recruiting scares me about Gus the most. But how was he to know the Mocha Nightmare would be so awful?

I think we'll do just fine in recruiting rankings. We have 12 commitments and half are 4*+. There are tons of top tier athletes left on the board and the staff has a knack for getting guys hooked late in the process.

Strength and conditioning program will fill him out at 6'7" 285
I think Coach Garner has a quicker Jay Ratliff in mind.

considering that Holland was a beast at a big school and had like 170 tackles as a senior, his 4 star rating isn't out of the realm of possibility.

4* DE Andrew Williams -- contrary to some buzz out there -- says he has not yet named a top 5.

I guess. But he played schools like Thompson. That is my Alma mater. They have sucked for a really long time.

Wow, sorry man.

quote:I remember this like it was yesterday. Everyone whined, bitched, and complained when he was a three star all of that time, and when he finally got his fourth star everyone celebrated and said it was well deserved. Now, looking back, he should've been less than a three star, more like a two star. He's been pitiful.

"Spoke with a source close to Auburn commitment Tre' Williams, who was in Tuscaloosa for several days this week. Williams would rather not publicly comment on the visit at this time, at the risk of having his words taken out of context, but the source reiterated that the top 100 LB is solid with the Tigers. He plans on being in Auburn this weekend.Just wanted to pass along this quick update. We should probably hear more from Williams after he visits Auburn" from BOL

Raashed Kennion is 6'6" 225lbs as a 17-18 yr old...He could get up close to 6'7"-6'8", 280-290lbs EASY. And it wont be fat either.

He could turn into a Devin Taylor type player from USCe. That's who first comes to my mind.

Got the Top 6 from a rivals article. I used quotes, how can you doubt? Because of KN crapping on rivals? IDK, man, just passing on what I read. Howeva, something I didn't know: He's got a brother that plays at GT, and this was written by a GT writer. I'm still thinking Clemson.

I have always been a huge fan of the long lanky and fast DEs like Dion Jordan. I wouldn't mind even getting Clowny size but I believe once you get 280+, you start slowing down and losing agility

Just trying to get you in the habit of posting links or saying per so and so when you post info like that. I like reading things for myself. That is why I ask when someone does not post a source. It's also why I post a link or say per so and so when I post info.

I found the article. It was Ga. Tech Rivals. I had to do a twitter search to find it.
