Why is a three star RB a "must get" for this class? Honest question.

Lulz...go watch his film and stop star gazing and you'll see why. Absolute stud RB.

Yep, his film is pretty impressive. He isn't a speed burner, but has decent speed and runs tough as hell.

I think Green is the best RB in the nation, but Barber would be a good get for us.

Auburn has a scheduled in home visit set up with Lawson next week. Apparently the whole defensive staff is supposed to go.

I could care less about star rankings. With Payne, Blakely, and Mason in the backfield already, I was trying to see why a (3) star RB was a must get.

Does anyone think that Gus can pull a better class than Chizik would have? Lets throw some odds in there Just for kicks. I give him a 37% chance.

Mason and Payne have only two years left and Blakely 3. Without another back we only have one scjolarship back on roster. In two years.

Green and Barber would be smart

This year - 0.003%

Next year with the staff CGM put together working on building relationships for Auburn - 35% on beating Cizik on signing day. But 66% 2 years from signing day.

Meaning it is important to look not just at signing day but who is left from the class a few years after signing day.

Anybody think C. Grant will develop to a serviceable back?

I always thought he'd make a great return guy. Seems like he's tailor made for speed sweep type plays on offense, too.

Why're we not pursuing this guy full-bore?

I think he could be a serviceable back, but unless there are injuries, I don't think he will get many touches.

That's what I'd like to know...this guy was a 4* recruit, not a walk-on

Agree, I think he has a chance there.

I don't think he ever would have made it with the old staff. The Gus O gives him a shot. IMO

He is weak and talentless outside of straight line speed. I honestly have nothing against the guy but he is what he is on the football field, weak and without talent.
