Bama is 5-2 with losses to Northeastern and UCF

Make that 5-3 as they lose to Georgia State at home tonight.

SEC is really bad outside of the couple top teams.

I really don't think it is, look at the teams outside the top 5 and it's pretty terrible.

Bama, UGA, SC, A&M are all just terrrrrible.

Florida has their worst team in many years, Ole Miss is pretty bad again and Mizzou is pretty bad.

I mean, I guess you can continue to question if we are going to make the tournament, but most rational people have already moved onto the "how far are we going to make it" part of your equation like 3 years ago now.
Most certainly not. Just have a look at the preseason prediction thread. There were tons of posters postulating that we would have 18 wins or less, which definitely doesn't make the tournament.

Dingleberries complaining that we would have a Sweet 16 if not for the UNC draws: you don't play scrubs in the 2nd round by being an 8 or so seed, you get to play scrubs by being a 4 or higher seed.

I don’t disagree with which teams you are including as good and bad. I am just saying the conference isn’t that bad when comes to getting post season bids. We should get 5 or 6. It was just highly overrated for sure. Those teams you mentioned as bad are really bad.

2-6 Wyoming beats South Carolina, I wonder where Frank Martin goes after this year?

Is it much of a stretch to say we're the 4th best team in the conference? I honestly haven't been very impressed with most of the other teams. Very top heavy but we're pretty good ourselves.

Probably, I'd say 4th tied with Miss State and just ahead of LSU right now.

MSU hasn't beaten anyone at all but their only loss is by 5 to 7-0 top 20 Arizona State so it's hard to put us ahead of them.

There is an argument for sure at this point. Florida, Miss. St and LSU have all struggled at times and not lived up to the hype to this point.

Ethan Henderson got an assist tonight. I was looking for updates in the mega thread but had to go scour the box score myself. Please keep his fans updated

I’m Cautiously optimistic but think we very well could be. League looks very top heavy this year but we actually look pretty consistent even against our better opponents. We’ll have our growing pains in conference play but the defensive effort and rebounding of this team I think can overcome some poor shooting nights

CSUs was pretty bad last night as well.

Really like this team. If Joe and Jones get hot, we can beat a lot of people out there.

Harris is the truest PG we've had in a long, long time.

Jabril Durham was def a pass-first PG, but he just wasnt very good. Jalen has gotten better each game.

Kinda like Durham/Harris comparisons, this team is very similar to the .500 team we had a few seasons ago, just WAY more talented. That team was pretty unselfish, the ball rarely got "stuck," had a couple shooters, but the main focus was getting inside to Moses. I still think that team gets in the tourney if Qualls had stayed.
