What sucks is how do we handle this? Fire both now? HY now and Sam in November? I worry we'll get another Chad if both go in November

Grumor has it that both BoD and the RF plane went to LR yesterday evening.

I think it’s more important to fire HY than it is Sam at this point. Both have to go but the next hire cannot be given to HY and it’s imperative someone with an innovative sense of NIL management is hired.

This shite has to stop. F all this “I don’t care” nonsense. I seriously can’t believe what this has become.

HY is probably too busy this morning trying to find out the number it will take to lure Gundy away from okie state.

I'm sure his numbers are telling him sam needs to be below .500 ignoring his first years record for the math to math.

In addition to Sam, fire our weak, feckless AD while we’re at it.

This.

Yurachek cannot be allowed to make the next football hire.

Get rid of Yurachek, move quickly to replace him and give the AD a few weeks to get their bearings and identify some candidates.

On top of everything you said, it’s also key to show any future AD your hiring and firing is still based around the football team at the university of Arkansas. Hunter truly had such little respect for our football program he honestly believes(ed) that boasting about softball and baseball (no offense to either programs I’m happy to see them succeed) and other non revenue sports was enough for him to be safe. It needs to be understood when you take this job just like everywhere else in the sec, if you frick up the football hire, you’re out of a job.

Its also worth noting that HY nearly butt fricked the basketball hire until Tyson saved him

Sam alone isn’t the problem, but he sure isn’t the solution.

I’m fair enough to say that the biggest issue that has his butt on the way out is not changing the DCoord after the debacle last year and the year before. That bed is made,

Truth is…if the defense was even average we’d be 4-0, pretty happy and headed into a big game.

I would fire Sam now or announce that he won't be returning next season and get a jump on some of the other programs like UF, Ok St, SCAR, etc.

Remember every coaching opening at Arkansas has caught HY off guard and unprepared.

The pic of him out in the lobby after the WKU loss said it all with the scared shitless look on his face and here we are 6 years later, unprepared and not plan forward.

We had a jump on Ole Miss when they hired Kiffin too but it didn’t matter since they swooped in and got him late anyway. No matter when we start looking or even if we have an agreement in place ASAP nothing is set in stone when they could change their mind at the next better opening

The swooped in and got him because principled Hunter refused to pay more.

They same guy who won the bidding war against no one to saddle the university with Sams current contract.

Sam was a result of all eggs in one basket Hunter having no plan b after Kiffin.

Think about it, he bowed out of the Kiffin negotiations with no back up plan. He helped hold the door for Muss's exit with no plan of a replacement.

Hunter's ego and unearned sense of accomplishment is his own worst enemy. If he is going to be over the replacement for Sam, then you keep Sam as it will save a buyout in the future when HY is fired and there is no telling just how bad of a contract he will "negotiate" if it's a "proven" HC like Gundy or Gus it will likely be a Jimbo level guaranteed buyout left behind.

Gruden is an offensive coach, who I believe still wants to call the plays. That wouldn’t mesh well. Keeping Petrino is going to be impossible.

For 1 he is going to be the interim if Sam is fired and just like BLJ will be butt hurt when told he isn’t getting the job.

Only possible situation to keep Bobby is to hire a defensive minded coach. Then over pay Bobby to stay as the OC and mentor to the new coach.

Bobby will try to undermine him the entire time, just like he did with Tuberville and now is rumored to be doing with Pittman.

Wtf are you talking about, he has won so many national championships in sports no one gives a shite about. Our volleyball team is winning, gymnastics was ranked and softball did so well.

How dare you judge him on only the sports that actually make the money that pays his million dollar salary.

Rumors about rumors, ya know. I did see someone posted a video from Brandon Marcello somewhere and he basically said he's hearing from "people in the know" that Bobby has been busy making phone calls angling to replace Sam. Also stated that Bobby seems to be distancing himself from Sam. Who could blame him?
