We're 6–0 in Muss' first year. Mike Anderson only had one year of eight with a 6–0 start.

With an excellent chance of moving to 7–0 if we can take care of business against 4–3 Northern Kentucky in BWA on Sautrday. MA would not have beaten Georgia Tech on the road tonight, 100% certain of that.

We were a second round tournament team the last time we started 6–0, btw.

Do we really need a comparison to Mike after literally every game?

It's my first actual comparison, personally. And it's the first time I truly felt Musselman won a game that MA would have lost for sure.

You know, it just feels good to think we actually nailed a hire and had a tremendous start to support the notion. It's not been easy to be an Arkansas fan for most of the past decade.

There's only been one other coach to start his tenure here 6-0 since 1942.

Why didn't you compare Musselman to any of the other coaches that failed to do it too?

I agree with the other guys. The Mike Anderson comparisons are already overplayed.

It's not just you or aimed at you personally. But it literally has been every game so far this season that a thread is made. Anyone with eyeballs know we upgraded. Just let that sleeping dog lie.

Because we didn't just fire any of those coaches?

We're that girl that had a bf for six years and cant stop comparing everything to him, even though the new guy is supposedly "so much better".

The quantity of comparisons alone belies everyone's anxiety

Well. Eight years. And this new guy treats me really well. I'm so lucky to have him.

Disagree, GT was awful. If we sped them up they wouldn't have kept up.

They were short staffed tonight. I was hoping all night long Muss would try to speed them up. Not gonna complain, because he's 6-0, but I think we could have whipped their arse if we had tried to run them up and down the court all night.

I feel like we played way more timid than musselman really wanted. I felt like he wanted us to go faster. but we were not really wanting to press them for some reason.

To be fair, Muss DID want them to speed up. They just didn't. We got super timid down the stretch.

Not with this roster. MA would be 4-2 with these guys.

We turned the ball over a lot. Sounds like the players were worried about protecting the lead. Eh, either way we won a big game and did it with outstanding defense. I can't wait to see what this team is playing like come conference play.

Yep. Good news is this OOC allows for us to tune up before then. Won't be the greatest resume in the world, but we need the time to get ready, IMO.

Yup.

We kept playing right into their plan with our shite half court offense.

We’ve got to be more adaptable with this roster.

The flatline is so poetic. Offense straight up died.

This is a joke right? We won on a lucky shot after not getting a field goal for like 12 minutes. 62 points including overtime.

I love what Muss is doing defensively but I can't remember any Mike teams having an offense this bad.
