I already did. Chad’s 2019 class has an average player rating nearly 2 full points higher than Bret’s best class. His 2018 class had an average player rating higher than all but one of Bret’s classes. That is a fact.

That doesn't refute anything in the post though.

Average player rating is a foolish metric to use anyway. If you have a 3 star o-lineman and a 5 star receiver, your average player rating is a 4 star. That doesn't magically make the olineman a 4 star recruit.

I don't give two shits about Morris and I'm discouraged by his on-field performance last year. I'm generally a little on the pessimistic side of 'even' when it comes to how I feel about where he'll take the program because of the way some of the games went late last year and his overall record as a head coach.

But if you can't feel a little positivity about signing more 4-star players than any coach after having the worst year in program history, then it's obviously more about wanting Morris to fail because you don't like the hire or so you can brag to strangers on a message board more than it is some noble effort to temper people's expectations.

Crown him? Not a single poster on here wants to crown him. 2-10 sucks and you can't feel good about that.

Folks are simply trying to find a reason to have a little excitement around a program that has for the most part been a total shite sandwich for the last 7 years. Getting your rocks off by running onto a message board to try to quell people's excitement about a pretty damn good recruiting class isn't being "woke". It's not being a realist. It's pretentious and frankly a little sad.

Would you rather he signed the typical 3-4 4*, 18-19 3* class? That would have landed us near Missouri this year.

I get that it's a good thing. I also look at our schedule next year and see another 0-8 or 1-7. You guys are giving Chad too much good capital for one class, and it reminds me of when Bielema got a raise and extension for beating Texas and going 7-6. I'm still in wait and see mode with Chad but some of you have already gone all in, which is your choice and I can't change that. It is pretty baffling though.

Ive been wanting Suitcase Mike fired for a long time. He teaches his kids no fundamentals at all. Its just school yard basketball.
