arent You the guy who lost his job or something after Morris took the job? If so I get why you are mad but at least disclose that so you have an excuse for your dumb opinions.

Your definition of average is laughable. I don't know why anyone wastes their time anymore.

In the athletic department and therefore not an independent opinion because you undoubtedly make friends? Or am I thinking of someone else?

It's average by Arkansas standards, which is all I've ever said.

It's a dumb question and you're just sea-lioning anyway.

quote:so Morris is a God awful coach because he couldn't win with the team we hahad last year?? Who the frick do you think we could have got that would have won with that putrid of a team. Nick saban wins 5 mayyyyyybe 6 games and I mean if shite falls our way. That team from a talent standpoint was fricking awful!! And half the ones that weren't talent deficient were either hurt half the time or could give a frick less.
Bc if we had better coaches in the other two sports maybe we wouldn't be just a baseball school?

Bert's average class was top 25. Chad's best class is top 25...

I'll humor you one last time. Let's have a look at Bret's last 2 full recruiting classes:
2017
4*s: 4 (Chevin Calloway, Montaric Brown, Brandon Martin, and Jeremy Patton, so that's going very well)
3*s: 20
2016
5*s: 1 (Agim)
4*s: 5 (Whaley, Capps, TJ Hammonds, Guidry, and Heinrich.
Once again, going great)
3*s: 16
And Chad's last full recruiting class:
4*s: 11
3*s: 14
Which one of these classes do you choose?

The fact that people are willing to crown someone king who has never won a game against a P5 program and is double digit wins away from even breaking .500 simply because he signed the 7th best recruiting class in the west.
Literally no one has done this. Being optimistic about a recruiting class isn’t crowning someone give a break.
Also stop with the youngest team BS, last year Mike had his most veteran team since he’s been here and was still one and done. Stop accepting mediocrity after 7 seasons.

On paper before they've ever played a college snap, you would choose Chad's last class, but we'll have to wait and see. Some of these guys will never make it to campus, some will transfer, some will be busts, etc. We'll have to wait a couple years to know which class was actually better. They're all ranked similarly.

If they're any worse than Bret's classes (especially the highly ranked players) then we might as well shut the program down because there's no coming back from that. Should have spent more time evaluating players instead of polishing off a handle of vodka while waiting in line at Golden Corral.

Look at how awful Bert's top talent ended up being. Over half of those guys are either gone or buried on the depth chart and these are supposed to be your elite athletes

quote:speaking of on paper vs on the field results do you realize half those guys never saw a snap for Arkansas?? Patton because of injury barely played, Martin, Heinrich never played any meaningful snaps. Hammond barely sees the field. Montaric brown and agim have both underachieved. Calloway is gone too and capps had to move to offense so we will see how that pans out but for now he still hasn't done anything either. It can't be much worse on the field then how Bert's top talent performed
