Why even make a point that you later say isn't true in the first place?

There are serious holes in this team. While a good coach would definitely win more games, there are problems at OL, WR, and DL that aren't immediately correctable. Could add LB in there as well.

Wow, it's your opinion? I never would have guessed.

You "let them have some feel good" against Coastal Carolina if the are beating them 72-3 late in the 3rd quarter, and every kid on the team, including your third string quarterback has already played. Even then, only a little.

There should be no feel good anywhere to be found after having to mount a comeback in the last minutes against a team that is unable to compete in the Sunbelt.

Which team other than Alabama has proven over the last 10 years to be unbeatable with the talent Arkansas recruits?

I'll answer for you. Not a single one

If it were ME, I probably wouldn't be celebrating.

But it's not me out there on the field.

I will point out though, that if the team's problem is some sort of mental barrier like Bielema (wrongly) suggests, then maybe they SHOULD celebrate.

It isn't as black and white as we see it as fans. Much as I hate to say it. We all feel like we have answers, but that's awful easy from the la-z-boy.

Personally, I feel like Bielema is the worst coach we have ever had at Arkansas and that he is dead wrong on just about every single thing he uses to justify why his team is total garbage. But without being in the locker room I can't criticize the players.

And any coach worth a shite would be making it very clear why they shouldn't be flexing and celebrating after coming back ob the sisters if the poor. Start naming successful P5 coaches who would have that going on.

yeah, that... or... you could leave them alone and let they have a few seconds of joy, when the stadium is empty and the light out for most folks... call them back out to the practice field and light them up, work their butts off...

Well, if that had happened at any time in the last 5 years, there would have been no need, right? You really think there is any possibility it happened yesterday?

They have heard constantly how they are only a 1st half team, how they cant win if they get behind... how they suck so bad.

Then 2 games in a row they not only are a 2nd half team, not only do they come from behind, but they actually win.

So, yeah... I would celebrate as well, even against the sisters of the poor, deaf, blind, and dumb school...

You say that like it was unfounded?

Everything about them was true.

We deserve a fat, sloppy loser as a coach who demands nothing but weight gain and disgraceful obesity.

“I feel bad for the players”.

They’ve sucked just as bad as the coaches. It took a last minute drive to win against that team on HOMECOMING.

Pathetic. I hope we lose out, which we will.

This makes no sense to me whatsoever... It is sad, pathetic as a fan to wish loss and disgust on the team you choose to be a fan of.

Man, you really do have it bad... perhaps you need to step away a bit.

I wish them nothing but success and joy in their endeavors, and I hope we get an amazing coach as well. One does not preclude the other...

It makes sense to hope that your team loses out in professional sports, but in college sports, it typically makes no sense.

In our case, I want beliema gone, but I can't sit there and watch the game and pull for the opponent

Well, if most fans feel like you do, then we're just in the wrong conference. We should bolt for the Sunbelt or Mid-America, and enjoy all those great wins.

So to be in the SEC we need to immediately after a loss:

Shoot family Members
Throw a brick threw the window of the coaches home
Burn couches
Go to winner's campus and deface iconic features of their campus

After a win?:

Tea bag an opposing teams fan
Shoot Family Member

Any other behavior is sub-par and not becoming of this conference.

I won't be max rustled until I find out whether Bert danced in the locker room after the game.

Dude, separate the two thoughts for a moment. Why do you believe that I cant be happy for our team winning and also want our team to be coached better, have better talent, and achieve more.

These two things aren't necessarily exclusive of one another. Damn!

So to be in the SEC

Hey, whatever blows your skirt up I guess. Don't know where any of that bullshite came from. All I'm suggesting is that if we as fans aren't really interested in competing at the highest levels, and instead think we should celebrate and appreciate victories against 1-7 Sunbelt teams, we probably should just drop down where we belong, and play football at that level. We can leave P5 football to the people who want to compete at that level, and revel in the years when we really kick arse, and beat Alabama State.

Otherwise, we need to make it clear that what is unacceptable is just that. We need to make it clear that we expect to demolish a team like Coastal Carolina, and if we don't, the entire football program can expect to catch shite about it, from the AD, all the way down to the quarterback who flexes in the end zone like he just scored against Auburn, rather than a high school team.
