and that was surprising? They knew what a whack-job their boss was... lining up the next year's job started early. Doesn't change the point - the players 'believed' in JLS, just like you're trying to imply with Bert.

Don't you think that there Is a synopsis not being considered here? Perhaps they were simply very relieved that they would no longer have to play for an absolute egotistical maniac who displays little man syndrome all of the time and were full of joy to be with someone who would simply "smile"...

I remember Stephen Austin on ESPN saying he or almost anyone could guide that JLS team to 10 wins and he was given the keys to a Ferrari... then he drove that team into the ground and put up a laughable season record.

I don't disagree... but the point remains, Going from being dog cussed everyday, being afraid to walk by the HC's office for fear of being berated and taking long steps around places where you may see the coach to having SMile was good for their soul, not for the win loss record

You could see the entire culture of this program right there. It's like everything else wrong with College today.

Let us be honest here folks.

Yeah, it was the ugliest win I can remember the Razorbacks putting on the board and we were close to the single worst loss in the modern era (1950's on) of Razorback football. Citadel, when we lost to them, was coming off an FCS championship. Toledo was a very respectable MAC team.

This would have easily cleared... or more fittingly limboed under that bar.

That having been said, the fact that our players showed signs of life is not something to be upset about. Christ, the sideline has been dead the entire season. Game after game we've watched the players looking on like they were waiting for a colonoscopy exam.

Even if it is looking happy after a near disaster its at least some sign of emotional investment other then helpless apathy. Considering we spent 98% of the game looking like we were sleep walking anything is an improvement.

If it takes Kelley relentless rah rah cheering the team until they respond I'll take it. Hell if it takes Bielema waddling out to midfield and doing a strip tease while "Sex Bomb" plays over the loud speakers I'll take it. Anything that gets this team to wake up.

Cole Kelley's fatass pounding his chest and pointing at his fat buffet arms after the game tying TD.

You're a real badass dude, way to power it in against coastal carolina.

Cut that trashy arse goatee off too while you're at it and his stupid arse Baker Mayfield dew rag.

Not impressed with his moobs either. This team and our fanbase don't deserve to win.

Oh blow it out your arse. "How dare this team win!"

Yes, I want Bielema gone as much as the next person but throwing a hissy fit because a player actually was happy to win a game? Jesus Christ.

Are you really that hopping mad that someone who plays for the Razorbacks was happy we won a game? Really? Is that insulting to you?

Yes, it was a crappy team that we barely beat. Yeah, it was a bowling shoes ugly game and I can't wait for Bielema to hit the road. But pissing all over a player who did his best to win us the game...

What the hell is wrong with you?

it's almost like the kids were emotionally invested and wanted to win.

was it against some shite team? yes. but better than not being invested and losing the fricking thing. atleast we still have some fight in us.

I don't have any problem with the players being happy about a win, however ugly. But flexing and profiling, and beating your chest like you accomplished something is bullshite, and symptomatic of the problem.

Go do some of that against your peers, like Alabama, LSU, Auburn, Georgia, etc, and beat your chest all you want. I'll cheer as you do it. But profile after breaking up a pass after you've been torched all day by the backup quarterback at the Sisters of the Poor and Perpetually Unathletic? No, I'm going to call bullshite.

Our coaching staff should not allow players to make accomplishments out of plays that they can and should be expected to make 98% of the time. To do otherwise is nothing but a manifestation of the everyone gets a trophy philosophy, and if that is actually a part of our football program, shut it down. We will never win anything worth winning.

Come on folks, it took some emotion and bravado to even deliver on this win. After the crap show of a season, of the past few seasons... let em have a little fun.

Geeze.. Move on to something actually important for a change.

But it is important. It could be the most important factor in what we are seeing in the program right now. Complacency. Performing at a mediocre level by SEC standards, but acting like you're performing at a high level. Worse still, is not a single coach telling our kids to zip it, because they haven't done a damn thing.

Yes, yes... we understand. When a QB who has a little fire playing against what is supposed to be an inferior opponent, shows his impressive fatty muscles. You get bent out of freaking shape.

Again, The coaches suck, the season has sucked, if it takes some show of bravado, excitement to change the face, game, program... then GOD BLESS THEM!

I'm not bent out of shape, I just think it is critical for the people who matter to recognize that acting like that says exactly the opposite if what truly successful programs and coaches want their kids to say and do.

You don't thump your chest against Coastal Carolina. Yoy should be pissed off and embarrassed that you had to find a way to score so you didn't lose to what was an FCS school last year, and has been playing football for 15 years.

Umm. Not quite.
We are only gonna get 1 conference win. They aren't even mediocre by SEC standards. They're terrible.

On the subject of players celebrating. Good. They deserve the feel goods. They're a talented team that is capable of winning the entire goddamn conference if they had the right coach. I truly believe that.

Well, Alabama would still be the winner, but they have the talent to beat anyone else.

These coaches are failing our team. And our state.

Should they have thrown their helmets off like little babies instead of celebrating? I don't get it.

Yes, yes the should. Since that's apparently their only two options. We all know it's impossible to pitch the ball to the ref and make your way to the sideline like it's no big deal that you just scored a touchdown on a team that hasn't stopped anyone all year.

Give me a break.

"Well, Alabama would still be the winner, but they're capable of beating anyone else."

I also qualified it's my opinion.

So...I don't understand why you felt the need to throw two words into the mix, out of context, other than to be contrarian.
