The reaction of the players tells us exactly why we need immediate change at the top

Our players were bouncing around laughing their asses off having a big ole' time on the sidelines over a 1 point come-from-behind victory over Coastal fricking Carolina. The complacency that has sunk into our program is at an all-time high. Absolutely ridiculous.

Well the good news is that the fan was going wild in the stands when we won. I tip my hat to him since it was just him, the band, the cheerleaders, and the football team left at the end of the game.

The losers were jumping around like we finally beat Bama....who we of course don't belong on the field with.
We need to either gracefully withdraw from the SEC and apply for the Sun Belt Conference or we need to fire our lazy coach.
Today.

I take it you never played.
You never feel bad about a win immediately after winning...

Hell, there are PLENTY of games where the coach made us run/drill immediately afterward because we played like shite even though we won. It's called having higher standards.

Well the cameras weren't there to focus on guys who feed off of emotion immediately following the clock striking zero in a comeback win for observers to critique and scrutinize were they?
Not everyone approaches things in their life with a complete lack of emotion, passion, and/or joy.

And?
The "embarrassment" can set in after the high of the win wears off in the upcoming hours.
You are complaining about players celebrating a win immediately following the win, there are plenty of other things to complain about instead of grasping at these straws. This isn't Bergantown.

I don't agree. You can join Bert and this garbage team in complacency land.

Like I sAid in the game thread the amount of celebrating for beating a doomed Ole Miss and a bottom 5 FBS teams by a combined 2 points coming from behind is astonishing and embarrassing honestly.

Winners do if they squeaked by a team they were suppose to demolish. It's okay to admit our coaches have no fire and it rubs off on the players.

Damn right. I've seen, experienced, or been privy to this type of thing on a million occasions in a few sports. Our coach is dancing.

This is two separate issues.
He wasn't attacking the staff for celebrating, he was bitching about the players shown celebrating immediately following the win on TV.

So he was suppose to tell everyone to go to the goal line for gassers when the clock struck zero?
Nolan waited until the team made it to the locker room celebrating, had a talk in the locker room about their reaction, then took them back on the court after BWA had emptied for the additional practice they needed.
But all you saw was players happy and excited on TV following the win.
Two separate issues entirely.

They shouldn't be celebrating after this win, they should be at each others throats for a shitty performence.

astonishing that a bunch of young men would celebrate a win in a half empty stadium, with coaches that the majority of the fans want gone.
Us against the world mentality... Astonishing really.
Geeze folks, give it a rest. They feed off of CK and his demeanor. Him showing his muscles in the EZ after a play and leading with a bit of pride, arrogance. Thank GOd someone on that sideline shows a bit of positive emotion.

Yes, because dysfunctional behavior in a team sport leads to success.

You think Bama players would be jumping around and going crazy after beating a 1-7 sunbelt team by 1 point? You think Saban would be positive in the press conference after it?

Saban is a joyless human being.
He doesn't fully enjoy any win.
That works for him, it doesn't work for everyone.
