Come in and unburden yourself here. Melt about whatever you need to.

I'll go first. My Saint Louis Cardinals are going to suck arse again this season. Cheapskate mofos.

Don't talk to me about MLB. The Cubs management refused to address the glaring bullpen needs and have won a grand total of 2 games in a week and a half!

At least they don't do all their shopping in the bargain bins like the Cards do. That's the real "Cardinal way" they always talk about.

I think we hired the 5th best option at coach and at best he will get us to the tourney every 2 or 3 years.

BUT HE'S BETTER THAN MIKE!!!!

Got dammit Im melting. Im sick of this shite. Hiring these experimental fuggin coaches when there's real talent and experience out there to be had.

The football hire was a GD joke but this icing on the cake.

That is all

Theo has made a couple of questionable decisions.

Yu Darvish had his flaws, but has great stuff. It hasn't worked out thus far.

Chatwood, at the time, was a good pick up. He just lost command soon as he got here. A real head scratch-er.

I was never a fan of the Heyward contract, but he's the least of our problems currently.

They didn't address the bullpen issues, which has really put us in a tough spot this year.

Kris Bryant needs to wake the frick up and start hitting the ball.

We hired a coach that had won the Big 10 3 times in a row and had gone to 3 straight rose bowls. He had also been the coach there for 7-8 seasons with consistent success. Mike Anderson was a proven coach at UAB and Missouri. Shut the frick up about hiring entrenched coaches.

You're being a douchebag about us hiring someone who has coached in the NBA and went to the NCAA tournament 3 years in a row and had Nevada in the top-25. He is not "experimental". He's a proven fricking winner

How in the frick is Eric Musselman an inexperienced, experimental hire? He has a ton of experience at different levels. He turned Nevada around quickly too. They won nine games the year before they hired him, and they just won three straight MWC championships and made a sweet 16 to go with the three NCAA tournament appearances.

Good points

Don't care. We don't play in the NBA. And his NBA record sucked, FWIW

Mike went 3 out of 5 years

Not in Power 5 basketball.

The reason I dislike the hire is his "position-less" bullshite offensive philosophy. Sounds too much like Mike for me and a bunch of 1 on 1 basketball. No thanks

You're certainly welcome to melt, but here's some quotes I stole from another board that were made by people that actually know basketball.

quote:

According to former NBA coach Jeff Van Gundy, Musselman is "as competitive of a guy as I've ever coached against. He's a brilliant offensive mind."

According to University of Kentucky head coach John Calipari, "Eric is one of the best in our sport. Extremely driven and knowledgeable. I've watched and coached against him in the NBA and FIBA games. He has an uncanny feel for the game, and ability to read where the game is at. More importantly, is his ability to motivate and teach his players what it takes to improve and win. He is as good as it gets."

According to NY Knicks head coach David Fizdale: “He is a basketball genius. Offensively, I don’t think I’ve ever been around somebody that is so innovative, understands how to attackmatch ups, understands how to teach teams to run.”

That isn't what it is at all though. Mike didn't try to run position-less basketball

You know, I'm pretty pissed off they canceled "Stan Against Evil". It was hokey but fun and the closest I'll ever come to getting the wife to watch a horror show/series. THIS IS bullshite!

I am mildly annoyed that changing climate has made beer more expensive. That's pretty much it.

And I don't even like beer that much. I'd rather chug wine. Though, of course, not butt chug wine because that is a Tennessee thing.
