Hopefully some big time school snatches him up and offers him a shot at a title before he retires. That’s probably the best we can hope for because there is no way our perpetually bad defense is slowing that offense down ever.

We’ll know a lot more after next weekend how good we did with the Pittman hire compared to what we could’ve had. Not saying we need to beat state to prove Pittman better than leach but if they boat race us and Kostello throws for another 6 bulls then it’ll pretty much show we made the wrong move not hiring the man 2 years ago when we went with chode. If we at least compete next week it’ll make me feel good knowing we made a similar hire with Pittman that we could’ve had with leach. Idc who is on the sidelines I just want to see the hogs win again!!

Five years tops. He will say the wrong thing and piss someone off. Then when the losing starts, they will get tired of him in Starkville.

Coaching anywhere besides the defense wasn’t any better.

shite ton of penalties, god awful Big 12 gimmick play calling and stupid mistake everywhere.

UGA played about as bad as they could have played and still beat our asses.

This season is going to be BAD. Mizzou is a maybe, but if we don’t drastically improve in a ton of areas, going to be another brutal year.

You guys were having the same boners about Starkel after the A&M game.

Coaching and defense yes.

Offense and special teams have a ways to go.

We can hope.

We looked much more competent to me as well.

I do want to give them props for recruiting AJ Reed. That kid booted a 53 yarder today like it was a chip shot.

I agree, it looks like we will have solid place kicking for our games this year.

I was at the game and didn't see an update but was Hudson Henry hurt or did we really just not play him much? He got killed on that one pass early in the game and then I felt like he was absent from most (if not all) of the game after that.

he looked slow, and Blake kern seemed to be the one in most of the game probably because he is the better blocker, and we sucked running the ball already.

He looked pretty hurt after that play he got smoked on. I just wonder if that had something to do with it. I’d have to go back and watch to see if he was ever back in after that play.

I haven’t seen anything about him being hurt so I just thought they decided not to play him that much.

I saw him a few times after that play but I think that hit took some starch out of him. Which you will have. If you go across the short middle against Georgia you are going to take some big shots.

I think we need to also realize Hudson is not hunter. If he was that caliber of a game changer you’d here about it in practice.

I agree. He doesn’t look the part yet. He’s out there before he’s physically ready because we don’t have anyone else.

Right. He may develop into that player but TE is one of the most difficult positions to play on the field because you have to do a little bit of everything. If he looks a bit shaky at times its because we have to play him more than we really should right now.

That was also a good shot right to the side of the rib cage. That will put a hitch in your giddy up for a couple of hours.

Thought it was interesting I never saw Toll even though he was listed as the backup TE on the depth chart. Tough assignment to give a true freshman though.

Kern looked intimidating to me. I can ride with that dude.
