We just won by 17 points and it could have been 24 without their garbage TD.

All this with our offense stalling most of the first half.

I think he went to Arkansas Tech. Drink probably really wanted the Arkansas job, to be honest.

He's got Missouri hooked up with a tremendous recruiting class this year. He might end up being a pretty good coach for them by the time it's all said and done.

I think Pittman wanted to pound the ball and grind them down in the 1st half. At half time, since Mizzou was selling out on the run...Pittman gave the ok to open it up.

I thought Briles did a great job. When he opened it up....Mizzou was toast.

I agree for the most part. I hear Missouri fans talk about how Odom tanked their program. Odom took over a 5–7 team and got them to a bowl every year except his first. Odom wasn't even lagging behind Gary Pinkel when you look at his four years vs. Pinkel's first four.

On one hand, I feel like Missouri knows they're in the SEC now and they can't wait for a slow builder like Pinkel. In that respect, it was a solid move for them to pull the trigger on Odom. But he's become a scapegoat for more than he deserves, and Drinkwitz really did underachieve this year. He didn't improve upon last year's .500 and the SEC-E was downright dismal outside of Georgia and Kentucky. Any halfway decent coach should have won eight games at Missouri this year, and that's not on Barry Odom.

But you also have to remember how new of a coach Drinkwitz is. He was only HC for one year at App State before getting hired. He's going to go through some growing pains, same as Pittman. The East is the weaker division and the recruiting already seems to be there, unless this year turns out to be fluky.

I actually really enjoy our rivalry with Missouri. It's the only "manufactured" one that seems to have taken root. The way their fans come at us on here is downright hilarious, they really can't help themselves. They're more vitriolic toward us than any other team by quite a bit. We have the old DGB recruiting grudge that was oddly rageful. Stealing Mike Anderson from them when he was at his peak. Taking Frank Broyles from them and he wins a football NC here. Them beating us five years in a row when we're vulnerable. Drinkwitz turning out to be a great coach and us taking him when Pittman retires because he grew up a Hog fan would be just another hilarious log to throw on the fire. No real reason not to root for him outside of the last game of the season.

They barely scored a TD on our defense in their biggest game of the season.

Not a good “foundation” especially with Badie gone. Dude is a beast and will be a solid NFL back.

Yeah the first half there really wasn’t much to get excited about and it was fairly boring and the second half it got pretty cold so a lot of people left early

True story: I know a guy that went to Tech at the same time as Drink. Said they were on the same intramural flag football team together. Drink was wide receiver on the team and would draw up every play for them when they huddled. Said he was a nice guy but kinda weird. That’s all I got

Bama has dominated us for years and I don't hate them at all. I think both fans know this game sucks and just want it moved. Kansas will play Missouri soon.
