It’s a damn shame I got a 2 week ban on HV for no reason, I’d love to see the melt right now.

Pittman of he goes hands off and just recruits and pep talks with a stud OC

That's the problem. He will bring Chaney who sucks

He would get some beasts for the trenches for sure.

Worse case scenario, you get a tough, mean team.

I’ve seen Chaney wants to retire at Tennessee. Don’t know how accurate that is though.

IF Pittman wants the job as bad as advertised, I don't see why it can't be under the agreement he brings on a different OC. Not an unreasonable requirement.

Let me say this....

OHHHH HECK YEAH! I love Sam Pittman, talked to him at a recruiting event once and dude is the read deal.

he would bring toughness to our OL, respect to the program, and players love the dude.

Yep, sign me up!

I’m cool with Pittman and Chaney. Can’t be any worse than what we have now. Tennessee started 1-3 and finished 7-5. I think we’d all be happy with that right now.

We should of just kept Bert, Chaney, and Pittman.

We are still going in reverse....extremely underwhelmed.

Also what we had last time was Chaney’s offense mixed with Bielema’s preferences from Wisconsin. It’s not 100% that he’s run an identical system here. I’d still kick some tires elsewhere first but it wouldn’t be the end of the world.

It's a wait and see for me but we can't deny how much players love him, his OLs, his recruiting prowess.

This can be like Coach O for us. The staff will be key.

Something to consider with Sam Pittman: He wanted the job bad. Reached out to people in Arkansas when Morris was let go. Continued to campaign himself for the job with who'd he bring in & why he can win big at Arkansas. Sound familiar? Eric Musselman did something similar too.

Bert literally begged him to stay.
