He sounds like a democrat

He could pick up clinton's legacy and run with it, name an airport after him

Missy, I really hope we have this on good authority. If true, glad we moved on. If not, we may regret this one day soon!

It's true, unfortunately.

The loss of Mike Norvell got Todd Graham fired at ASU. Someone having a different opinion than you doesn't invalidate their opinion.

On a different note, even if I'm wrong and Morris wins here, we now get to see aggy hire a coach away from us. Terrific.

I've heard about the booze and gambling, but I haven't heard anything about "little girls". Most of what I've heard along those lines is he likes the coeds.

I'll re-phrase from "little girls" to underage girls.

Also, Mike Norvell currently has the 9th ranked recruiting class in the AAC.

Chad Morris 5th.

Norvell even with more success, even with Memphis being a much much better program, still can't outrecruit him. Norvell is being outrecruited by Navy Tulane and Temple in his own conference, with all of these factors working in his favor as a program. L O L

But it can make you an idiot, such as in this case.

They're strapped into Jimbo for a decade.

They were 9-40 in the years preceding Mike Leach. I'm well aware of their successful years that got Mike Price hired at Alabama. Those don't change the fact that their program has an overall losing record. They're the PAC's Kansas or Iowa State.

Those are serious accusations. How do you know them to be true?

Fuente before Norvell for sure left Memphis in a much better spot than SMU.

This is true. It's also true Memphis lost a first round QB when Fuente left. No worries though, Norvell promptly recruited and developed one of the most successful QBs in school history.

Chad Morris was already at SMU when Deshaun Watson broke out. He started like 3 games under Morris.

He recruited him to Clemson and developed him for 2 years. Nice try.

Watson was recruited from Gainesville (Gainesville, GA) class of 2014. He committed to Clemson on 2/1/2012. He was recruited by CHAD MORRIS .

Tim Horton recruited Kerryon Johnson. Maybe he should have been a more realistic candidate.

Keep spinning.

You can't fix stupid, this guy has a LOT of it.

Discredit Morris for Watson, then back track, give credit for recruiting to Norvell...ignore when he finds out Morris is outrecruiting him by multiple spots right now in his own conference.

The spin is real.

Mike Norvell has landed a couple of the highest ranked recruiting classes in Memphis history. I never said they were the highest in the AAC.

Let's say a coach lands a top 15 class at Arkansas (farfetched). Meanwhile, Ed Orgeron lands a top five class at LSU. The Arkansas coach is being outrecruited within his conference, but is still a really good recruiter, no?

I’m happy with the hire, now let’s open those wallets and bring in Venables and some middy fiddy recruiters.

I've been doing a lot of research on Morris the last 24 hours or so since I've heard he was the man and I DO feel quite a bit better about him than I did before. His overall record is my hangup on being 'all in' on the hire, but by all accounts everyone that knows far more about him than I do swears he's a damn good hire.

Count me as 'all in' if he can agree to slightly lesser pay and bring in Venables as his DC/co-HC for a couple million per year like rumored. I think he needs to knock it out of the park with some big time assistants to have a chance at succeeding with a turnaround of this magnitude.

I keep hearing this stuff about his practices and how they're so much different than the average coach, can anyone expand on that?
