Morris is a bowl game win from having the most wins at SMU since the 80s. Think about that. June Jones got to 8 once or twice, but other than that SMU has been the laughing stock of CFB. And without Morris, Clemson Isn't shite today.

Mike Leach would have been terrific, but Norvell would have been better.

Mike Norvell ran a better offense, won more games, is known as the best recruiter in the group of five, is from Arkansas, and is thirty six years old. Please educate me on why mr. Aggy is so superior.

SMU is in Texas competing against the American while Wazzu is in fricking Pullman, Washington and competes against the PAC 12.

Mike Norvell can't/won't lay off the gambling, booze, or little girls. He didn't even make it past the first round of the vetting process. He'll remain at Memphis, indefinitely, or maybe go to UCA when he gets run out of there. He would've been a disaster at Fayetteville. Serious fans are ready for a coaching staff hungry for winning football games, not hungry for excessive slabs of ribs, whiskey, & chicks.

Memphis had one of the best scoring offenses in the country. I'm not sure what you find so amusing. SMU had a good offense too, but not as good as Memphis, thus Memphis had a better offense.

I've heard about the booze and gambling, but I haven't heard anything about "little girls". Most of what I've heard along those lines is he likes the coeds.

Chad Morris and Brent Venables are why Clemson is going for another national title. They laid the foundations. Chad got a head coach gig for it, and Clemson promoted his assistant to run the same offense.
Norvell doesn't have shite even close to that get real.
Like I said before, go actually read up on Chad Morris besides googling his record at SMU. You may not look like such an idiot over and over.

You do know Leach isn't even the 1st or 2nd most successful coach in their history. They've been to Rose Bowls in the last 15 years before Leach. PAC 12 isn't evrn good. SMU hasn't had a coach with a winning overall record there in 31 years.

Bet you think they had the same players as well.
This doesn't happen in a vacuum.
Fuente before Norvell for sure left Memphis in a much better spot than SMU.
