Win the home games, lose the road games! 7-5! Probably due for a bowl loss

Arkansas goes 7-5, beats UNLV in a revenge game in Las Vegas.

I’m at 7-5 as well.

Too many question marks on the offensive line, receiver corps, new players via the portal, 2 new coordinators, and freshmen in the 2 deep.

Defense could take a big step forward (it quite literally can't be worse than 2022), but offense could take a step back.

Also, I'm not out on Pittman, but last year left me with a pretty sour taste in my mouth. Too many games where we came out flat and looked disinterested, unprepared, and poorly coached (Missouri State, Liberty, Mizzou), and a few where we let our foot off the gas and let the opponent back into it (Ole Miss, Kansas). He has a penchant for playing up or down to our level of competition, so I fully expect us to lose one we shouldn't and win one we otherwise shouldn't. I'm hopeful he's learned from his mistakes last year and course corrects. This year will tell the tale of whether he's redoubled his efforts or whether he's gotten complacent and stagnant after his post-2021 contract.

It'll probably even out at 7-5, which — given this program's last decade — is fine.

I think we beat OM, Miss St and Florida to finish 9-3.

8 wins, maybe 9.

Enos will be much better in the RZ... We have the WR's, and RB's to keep KJ healthier with the change in scheme. and our D will be lightyears better.

Plus, the way Pittman speaks... He has learned a few lessons. So, I hope!

I don't think I would take 7-5. 8-4 or better.

9 wins at 9-4 with bowl I'd take. 9-3 with bowl loss to 9-4 idk, I guess if KJ sits out sure.

There's almost no chance KJ plays in the bowl anyways right? Although Criswell with a month of practice as the 1 is no slouch.

7-5 would be ok but bland.

8-4 would be solid and fine.

9-3 would be considered a good year.

Same. Definitely would be disappointed with that. 8 wins would satisfy me but I'd still think we were capable of more.

You guys need to quit being so modest, I know we've been hurt before but look at the schedule, roster, and what we did last year and tell me we should lose more than 2 games (and it pains me to include LSU as one of those since we barely lost to them last year with a backup QB).

We upgraded both coordinators (about 90% confident in that), kept our RBs (actually got one of our best ones back 100% healthy in Dominique) , kept our QB and upgraded his backup, reloaded our receiver core, upgraded our DL, upgraded our DBs, TEs seem solid... Really our main question marks are OL (which our head coach has specialized in forever) and LBs which everybody seems pretty comfortable with, and forming our secondary into something besides dogshit. But when you're replacing the coaches and most of the players, results are gonna change too. Hopefully in the right direction.

We ought to win AT LEAST 10 games this year. I was pretty pissed with Pitt boss at the end of the year last year but I really feel like he's had a helluva off season, enough to get me back on the kool-aid.

10 wins should be expected this year... Sure I'll be happy with 9 but 8 would feel so much like Bert ball 2.0 that I'd still be a little pissy.

Arkansas has too many unproven players especially on defense to have them 10-2 or better.

Arkansas COULD have won 10 games last year but circumstances put them at 6-6.

If Arkansas wasn't in the SEC, I would have them winning more but this conference, the talent and depth is a bit much unrealistic to expect 10 wins or better.

7-5/8-4 should the typical and average Arkansas season. That is a safe bet and no will be disappointed.

Don't forget the A&M where Arkansas played like a bunch of drunks after that stupid superman dive.

We were 9 points away from 10 wins last year. Returning most of that production and trimming the fat (hopefully), I don't think 10 wins is that unrealistic. Don't get me wrong, I know that's a big gamble but I'm honestly pretty surprised how under the radar this team is.

Might as well expect 4 or 5 wins a year then, Definitely won't be disappointed then. Go root for Kansas or Vandy or somebody with that kind of expectation.

Close only counts in horse shoes and hand grenades.

That was last year and those close losses have nothing to do with this year.

It is bit unrealistic to expect 10 wins when it has only been done three times in 31 years.

I have heard how this Arkansas team was under the radar and this team was going to be a big surprise but to no avail. Each and every year the same homer BS but the results are just the same.

Arkansas has to PROVE to the nation that they deserve respect instead of being picked almost last in the West each year. That is what everyone expects.

WIN more games and maybe more hog fans can be less pessimistic.

Since 1992... our entering the SEC.. How many times have we won 10 games? Who were the coaches?

3... 3 times in 31 years.... Nutt/1, Petrino/2... And the SEC has gotten even more difficult!

Dude, if you need to have 10 wins to be a fan without being told to go root for someone else... Well hell!
