Nebraska has a better record at 3-1 and if the game isn't played then Nebraska advances?

Ok clarification, my bad on spreading bad info.

Game should be able to be played Tuesday. If not, it sounds like the highest seed would advance if both teams are split 1-1 h2h. Sorry guys.

Honestly, it would be the most Arkansas thing ever to not be able to advance because of a rule like that so it wouldn’t surprise me if that were actually true for that reason alone

Yes, rooting for rain is the best hope to try to kill some of Nebraska's momentum.

We don’t want rain. We’re the #1 team in the nation. I feel an Ole Miss game 3 performance on the horizon.

Pitching available for winner take all...

Wiggins
Monke
Bolden
Morris
Tole
Kopps
Ramage

I believe the only ones not available will be Wick, Lockhart, and probably Costeiu.

In the end, if the middle of our lineup can’t figure shite out, pitching doesn’t matter.

All of this is moot if Pio starts a gamethread.

Last night was crazy. Error galore, Nebraska squeezing weakly hit balls through the infield. I think they had like one hard hit all night. And they were sandbagging on their starter. He’s been sitting 85-88 in his starts this year, last night he was hitting 93. Think that surprised our guys

Probably in that order except Kopps could be the third guy in or not pitch at all depending on the circumstances.

he had barely pitched this year due to tommy john recovery. They saved him for post season i guess. Stretching him 73 and schwellenbach 65 was huge for their bullpen, but if we dont rain out today, both bullpens will be pretty stretched going into tonight. We would have the edge with Vermillion and Pallette healthy, but with them out, it looks pretty even pitching-wise through the first 7-8 innings. But we should be able to throw Kopps late if needed and they likely wont be able to throw Schwellenbach(their main closer).

But our bats need to wake up and we need to close out those 0-2 counts when pitching

The Arkansas hitters looked like they were playing at a softball game for 55+.

With the guys out we don't have the pitching for these double elimination tourneys. Especially when the HP ump has a strike zone the size of my puckered up anus and makes us throw a gazillion pitches per game.

The discipline was terrible last night.

Battles striking out with runners in scoring position on a 3-1 pitch at his chin was terrible. That is a take pitch all the way in my eyes.

We have good depth it is just inconsistent. If the pitching doesn't start coming around then we will start overusing Kopps and teams will start teeing off. When that happens then it is over.

This is where giving more younger opportunities through the season would have really helped. Guys like Starks for example could have been used against an NJIT game to save the more veteran arms for games like this.

DVH used seven pitchers in game one. That is bad.
