Stop with the trick plays. Stop with all the behind the line, slow developing plays. Stop running into fronts when you know you can't get yards.

Just use your receivers' athleticism and dice up opposing secondaries. Granted, we all assume we won't see a defensive front like that again outside of maybe Alabama.

From what I saw today, Ole Miss, Miss, State, LSU, and Florida are all going to have to be shootouts for any chance of winning.

You just played what might be the best defense in the country and moved the ball pretty well at times. You won't see another defense as good until you play Bama. You guys had some great play calls tonight.

Some of those play calls cost up some points. I hate wasted plays.

I don't know that we should stop them all together but maybe explain to players a little more on risk and reward. Limit them until they get it.

I would like to see more direct attacking plays or quick hits when we're struggling. It seems to me we need to find a way to develop a rhythm.

We need to not wear our defense out and have longer more sustained drives. the offense is going to have to figure out how to sustain a drive and not just hit chunk plays and get penalties to move the chains.

Idiot hurry up Big 12 offense.

It’s never worked for us because teams play defense and we don’t have the talent. Why do we keep doing it?

We’ve only ever been successful running some form of a power/pro set offense.

But the narrative when Bielema was here was that the pro style won’t work because we can’t “out-Alabama Alabama”.

I do think Mississippi State made a better transfer QB decision than we did.

Franks, although he is much better than anyone weve had the past 3 years, is honestly not that great.

He will net us some big plays from time to time (see FLA game winner vs Tenn). But more often than not, he will cost us big plays (ala the multiple interceptions yesterday).

He is a high-risk/high-reward QB, and this is a time we need a possession/conservative QB

You say "decision" like we had a lot of choices.

We took Franks about 3 weeks before Costello even announced his transfer to MSU. There were other good transfers still available. If our QB play is going to be crap again this year I’d rather us just roll with KJ and Hornsby.

We keep taking guys like him and Starkel just because they have SEC experience (like that means anything) when their own fanbases don’t even think they’re that good.

I think the difference is the QBs last had no coaching from the staff. Franks came in as filler because Jefferson just isn't ready for the SEC.

At least yours didn't quit like a bitch right before the season

I thought Franks was excellent on the RPO quick game stuff. And I love the calls to slip the TE/FB out into the flats away from the flow. But Franks is always going to struggle once you start putting pressure on him and making him throw the deeper routes. It's just his MO.

He's the QB that's gonna go 14/36 for 248 yards with 2 TDs and 2 INTs on a weekly basis.

Franks is a 10 win sec qb. That’s a lot different than what starkel was. He may not be great but please don’t throw him in the same category as our last few qbs anybody with eyes can see the improvement with him under center compared to anyone we’ve had the pst 2 seasons simply by his command of the offense. He made me terrible decision and one bad throw while getting very very little time back there. Let’s keep the pitchforks in the shed at least until we see how he does week 2.

I think the alpaca is a mobile version of starkle. He’s going to make some really bad decisions at times. He’s also going to make some great throws.

He kept some plays alive yesterday that the guys from last year would have taken a sack. I think we’ll see him utilized in the run game more in the second halves of games we have a chance to win.

What even is a pro style power set? The pros are slinging it all over the place these days.

We need to embrace spread concepts. I did feel like brils did a better job later on of slowing it down. You could tell at first he really wanted to run it fast.

We need to do solid roster management, player development, and fundamental coaching to win from here. I saw a foundation to at least grow off of. We were more physical than georgia till we got worn out. That'll be enough to get some wins, we were all expecting a blowout here.

It stings because we all saw us look like we knew what a football was for the first time in years.

Yep. When what we need is a QB to go 20/26 for 185 yds with 1 TD and 0 INTs

The opposite of this tempo RPO spread shite when we clearly don’t have bodies on either side of the ball.

It’s amazing how stubborn and unadaptable all these “genius minds” of the game are.

I’ll give it a few more games but you guys are all dropping your droors way too fast. UGA played as bad as they possibly could have played for 2.5 quarters and still blew us the F out.

We’re not even “sniffing” an accidental upset.

That’s how utterly pathetic this team still is.

NFL defense or not, UGA with those 2 QBs is not #4. So don’t give me that.
