At this point Portis, Qualls, Barford, Jones, Joe and Macon are leagues ahead of Muss transfer scrubs.

Yea it’s 8 years but Moody is an in state guy and he’s still only got a 30 inch vertical.

Woah, 3 star. Watch out. Sounds like an MA haul.
Of course you ignore the positive and focus directly on the perceived negative. I swear some of you just want to be upset.

That 3 star is 6'10'', btw.

He’s an instate guy that was only giving Arkansas a courtesy look when Mike was here. If the previous coach had zero chance of landing him then you have to give Muss credit

I'm a Muss fan.

Fact is, he inherited a team with 2 NBA players and nothing else. They left. He brought in one of the highest classes we've ever signed, but they are freshmen and all but one of them plays like freshmen (VERY talented freshmen...but still green). He went and signed the best players in the transfer portal and made us a serviceable team...but none of those guys were or ever will be stars. They are there to get us by until the young guys get experience...which they will. He missed with Vanover it appears, but I can't find much fault in trying to get some muscle on a 7'3'' kid who has decent hands and can shoot a little.

We got pushed around and beat up by a couple teams that are way more physical than we are, but if we make the point blank shots we're missing, those games are competitive.

I’m not sure how or why someone’s perception of this would change based on winning or losing a basketball game

I was joking when I said I want him fired but I want him to not make excuses and coach your team even when you are getting your butt kicked. Him not leading any huddles in the 2nd half reeks of being a quitter with a poor attitude and concerning to say the least.

He was so frustrated, not understanding what was missing in his coaching/training etc. It was as if he was speechless in what he was seeing/watching.

As was I. He is searching for answers as per his presser. Never having experienced something like this. Having the talent, the coaching, the practices, and nothing working. JMO FWIW!

Nobody seriously wants to mire fusselman at this point, right?

This is the first sign that he might not work out. For chode for me the first sign was his dysfunctional first spring game. Left lane hammer down couldn’t even get the team to line up correctly.

Muss gets a couple years to get it fixed. If we don’t turn it around this year I’d expect him to turn the roster over again with transfers.

If we’re not in the dance next year the seat will be very hot.

I mean if you watch the press conferences not sure how he could be labeled as a guy making excuses. He calls out himself and the coaching staff, especially in the LSU/Mizzou games.

The stranger thing to me is even the people that want him fired, a certain section then believe firing Mike was wrong.

If Musselman doesn't improve, it can be true that firing Mike was the right choice and Musselman was the wrong hire.

So let me get this straight, we're clamoring for the guy who couldn't do shite in 8 years because a guy who's already signed a higher class than he ever did in his first try lost two games in a row to two of the top teams in the conference in year 2? Glad y'all aren't running the show.

Yeah I'm really hoping everyone is trolling or joking in this thread bc there's a lot of really bad takes here. We're gonna be fine

Tardville post but saw it on twitters...

And thinking about it, I can definitely see the Petrino on steroids comparison.

Up until a couple years ago I read tardville pretty much every day. I’ve never seen that guy be right about anything that wasn’t already common knowledge or blatantly obvious.

They start 3 seniors and play 4 a lot of minutes.

Oats also landed a 5 star from Nova while we are landing guys from mid majors.
