He’s not going to want crazy money. Just the going rate I imagine, plus money for assistants and recruiting (NIL).

Yeah I mean paying a solid market rate is fine. Paying him Lane Kiffin money when he isn’t the brainpower behind the offense or defense just doesn’t make sense. We have to be able to pay above market for assistants. As long as we can do that then I have no complaints.

I hate OU but know a couple who are involved there…It’s funny to me…they fired Venables and will now hire him back as a HC. When I asked them about Heupel, “No Hawgeye, we fired him because he sucked!” And I’m like…wait…didn’t you fire Vena…oh nevermind. Good for you guys.
